Bam is a good player, he knows about a dozen characters and most of the advanced techs with all of them. When it comes to projectile spam though I just started SDing against people who start it up. I'll fight them normally otherwise but im not gonna wait the 3 minutes it's going to take for someone to rack up the % difference, I'd rather just walk off the stage and get back to playing normally. I want practice, and that's not it. I get other really good ike players telling me that I'm not aggressive enough I'm just at a loss since when it comes to matches I'm always the one approaching against everyone, no one else even fkn moves unless it's a roll.

lol I could careless if he was the best smash player it doesn't make it any more right to sit back and spam arrows/bombs in a large map. He was getting his face raped by my Zelda for some weird reason until Metah and that other guy randomly decided to go after me :\

Other guy = me, and once again, I just attack whoever is closest, which makes sense why you said that since Bam was always out in the distance shooting arrows lol. I'm very aggressive as in I like to run to a person and pursue a kill, I don't like standing in the back and just randomly shooting shit/items at people, it makes the game less fun for me.

I do have sympathy for the people that SD during a match so I tend to leave them alone until they're tied up with me .

It was just that pirate ship match. For some reason I never saw the blue one (pretty sure it was Bam) or you two fight each other that match :\ Other than those, they were good. Damn items are fun in 4 way...

Lol, I certainly need to stop dodge rolling behind you so much, spot dodge is so much safer. Alas, with that lag (can't be helped I guess) it's kinda hard to do precise movements (not an excuse, you had to deal with it as well) and almost impossible for me to do Sword Dance, which is kinda one of my key moves with Marth >.> At least with that I don't use aerials/Fsmash so much.

I have a friend who literally never sword dances, no lag at all. He could and does win entirely on fair, fsmash, and grab. It's annoying because it's so boring. He wont move because he knows he can just shield grab ike out of any approach. Yeah lag was just screwing me up on defending a lot too, which all in all I freeze up when I hit a shield anyway so it's not even really a good excuse.

Tagteaming? I'm not approaching somebody else that's using arrows, and he generally wasn't as close to me. I viewed you as being a better player than Akashi so I was more wary of you than anybody else, but I didn't actively go for you. I never cooperated with Akashi on fighting you, and Toon Link is high up on my characters of choice these days. Not like I gave him an IM or something and told him "Hey, let's play Toon Link and go on Great Sea..." (which by the way I didn't even pick, I pick Battlefield with Toon Link which does not accomodate projectiles as much as FD or other fairly large maps).

Also I dislike playing FFAs because even the best of players can just get their shit thrown all over the place by random stages, random items, and people spamming large hitbox attacks for clearance, not to mention every single item in existance on. Or the person that's playing the best can pretty much clear everybody out and then end up losing in the end from randomness. Fighting me with any character 1v1 is a completely different story, I wouldn't base too much judgement off of some FFAs.

As for my Toon Link usage, ALWAYS SHDA whenever there's open space between you an an opponent. I don't spend the entire match using arrows and you know that. You don't always have to run up and b-air or dash attack or something stupid when there is open space. If I can reach somebody with b-air or nair, then I will use that. I'm not actively running away from people to the other end of the stage and shooting arrows like a bunch of people that play Pit. Placing pressure with two arrows with open space leaves to much better openings for spacing attacks, rather than randomly running up and hoping your attack was spaced right.

Sounds pretty bad, though I'm not sure if I'm any better (I never think about that kinda stuff when I play). But usually with no lag I can get Utilts and Ftilts done easier. And playing against Marth must be boring, but he's one of the few characters I'm good with. Wolf is pretty self destructive, your Ike beasts mine and Sonic gets screwed online lol.

I do mix it up though, but I'm pretty average with everyone else I play. Still, if you're up for it at some later time, I'd love to play again. Uni is finished so now I can devote myself to Brawl.
