Show me this friend of yours so I can see how he does it and adapt it into my style possibly.

He's the biggest elitist both in-game and outside -_-. Only reason he plays against me is because he knows me outside the internets. But from what I've seen: he short hop Fair A LOT and he's really good at timing it so there's no lag when he falls. He also spikes a lot and tends to edgehog (he's the typical no items 1v1 fox only FD in melee where he'll down B you to death off a cliff). I believe he can do a chaingrab with Ganon's down throw as well, but Idr exactly and I'm positive it doesn't work at higher % (much like Falco's down chaingrab). I know for sure though that he tends to use aerials 90% of the time because he complains about Ganon's lag. Also fun fact about Ganon that made me start playing smaller characters: his uair is a lot like Zelda's where you can hit players on the ground if they're midsize+. It won't work on anyone smaller than mario, but for players like Ike it's nice considering the impact it gives. Other than that, he plays similar to you.

I mentioned that fight, considering I used Link only once. And I only lost to you twice (once was a stupid SD when I got caught under the stage with Snake) with your Ganon out of 5~ish games, not to mention I beat you with my lolsnake that I use whenever I get bored. I'm not saying you're omgwtfpowerful, you're WAY better with your other characters like Wario or Meta. The fact of the matter is you were abusing over B when you start to lose. There's nothing wrong with utilizing moves like Ike's fair or Link's/TL's tri-projectiles, but as soon as you start to abuse it where it's giving diminishing effects towards your overall performance, it becomes an annoyance to your opponent (I really didn't like playing Rock/Paper/Scissors with your over-B after the billionth time). Once again, I started spamming arrows because I knew exactly what you were going to do and I was getting tired of it: over-B me and try to KO aka you were camping.

I see how you play your other characters and I'm very impressed by them, it's just your Ganon is hopelessly clinging to one move in my eyes.

eh, my Wario abuses his forward smash and aerial down a lot more than Ganondorf forward-b (unless I am doing the combo spam if they have an obvious pattern of getting up). I use that forward-b a lot on people I have to play tag with or who use range (which count Link).

Yea... I really don't like that Snake I have to keep chasing who is just rolling around with grenades that don't work more than half the time ;; just an annoyance as well ;;

Wait, short hop forward aerial? I was sure Ganondorf always lagged incredibly unless he was REALLY high up in the air when he did it upon landing.

Edit: I dunno why I am doing better by goofing off with Captain Falcon but I am just laughing so hard at him. It feels like playing Ganondorf without all his armor and taking steroids...

I had to test it out to see if I was hallucinating, but nope, you can easily short hop fair with Ganon. As for the no lag when you land, I have no clue how he gets rid of it sometimes. It's just like those people that figure out how to stop the lag for moves like Mario's dair when they land, which I'm pretty sure there were videos about that sort of stuff floating around earlier in the year.

I don't really use AIM, I tend to use MSN more but I can use AIM express with my old account I suppose. It is Kokoronokawari (msn is the same just add @hotmail.com )

But yea, more the better to know.

Kashi, maybe I am doing it wrong but I can't pull it off (the no lag). I'm checking youtube currently to see if I can find a video of it somewhere...

My friend called me tonight and asked about seeing a show, and I asked him about the lagless fair. I was wrong sorry, he does the lagless stomp and says he starts using fair past 50% where they can't punish you after he falls (of course you can if you dodge).

Tried the lagless stomp a few times earlier a lot more often, was decent but left me open though to aerial people. Can never tell when to fair without fearing being punished for it afterwards (outside of recovery). I appericate it though

Wario is just a crazy bastard that makes me laugh, he is fun to use for my style.

I guess those who used Marth now are those who used Marth in Melee? My two friends use Marth but one had their Wii messed up (which was sent and returned with data erased so he has to start over) and the other has the Wii at his dorm which he isn't at now so yea...

Also is refreshing to see a King Dedede, I need to play with him again...

Yea I used Marth and Shiekh in melee.

I feel Marth is still usable, but I feel that I don't do as well with him with no L-cancel plus I feel it's harder to spike with him now. I usually don't go for it anymore.

I switched from Sheikh to ZSS since I thought they would play similarly. They don't at all, but I grew to like the character.

Whether it's Nintendo's server's or not, the games we had that day were incredibly fine until you joined but the point of me saying what I did was that I'm the type of person to look past such a petty inconvenience when I don't get much time to play online to begin with unless I'm playing with someone who's in Europe where the latency is horrid.

I taunt because it's a habit of mine I never broke from Melee. It's not my fault if you get pissed off because I sure as hell don't when other people do it to me and if I get knocked out as a result, I've no one to blame but myself for leaving myself open.

Every 4 player match those past few days have been laggy for me even if the 4th member was red dot or not, considence? Ryko was red dot for me for a few days and we were ok in 3 way until a 4th joined
