Pit can use UpSmash while running...for those that didn't know that.
You can attack coming out of a glide.

Whenever you get hit, start tapping the AirDodge button until your character dodges once and it will slow you down (saves you more than you'll ever think possible).

Pit + Olimar are so good.

I really, really plan to master him. D:

Snake can do something brutal with the 2 grenades to if you time if right, cook a grenade before throwing it for about 2 seconds, toss a second grenade in the same area instantly after the cooked and it will send someone flying because the person will eat both grenades at the same time.

I meant I was actually lost in the place with the things (subspace maze). But yeah, you get him whether you lose all lives and what not and you get him if you don't.

I dunno, his air back-a mule kick seems to be as powerful as Shiek's. The up-a is pretty good for meteor kills too.

Up+A, left/right+A, and down+A attacks, the ones that aren't smashes.

Like his up tilt he'll do a double kick, but his up smash he does the triple sword attack.

Just hold the direction before hitting A, don't hit them at the same time.

    Re: Pit discussion

Sort of an odd question, but the other day I was using Pit and ended up doing a weird gliding motion but I couldn't recreate it, I think it had something to do with me hitting some combination of b and to one side,

Anyone know how to do it and if it's actually useful? It was sort of a random unexpected motion so I didn't get to test any kind of mid-glide attacks

Hold the jump button down as you press it and use the control stick to adjust the angle at which you glide. Going towards the 90 or 270 degree positions will end the glide immediately.

Anyone else have any strategies or comments?

The shield causes 5% damage to a character that is close to you or hitting you for that matter. Ive found it useful to stop double teaming thats about it though, gives you a little break so to speak. Its main problem is how long he holds the shield out.

Just out of curiosity, do people use x/y for jumping or up on control stick? I could only get the gliding to work using x/y, but I prefer not using those buttons

Anything you can avoid doing by touching the analog stick the better, it allows for better control with the stick after the fact. That's why turning tap jumping off and using your C stick in the air are your best options since it gives you better directional control while falling and you dont have the inadvertant fast falls when you're trying to spike someone.
