They want us to “use” our spirits which means they are “giving” us incentive to keep the out, just like our avatars.

I guess that comes to the dismay of 99% of summoners, but I have been using my spirits since i started leveling the job. Its all a matter of knowing where you can use them and how to manipulate them. Spirits were originally designed for long term use, and avatars for a short time, but they screwed it up by raising spirit costs and not keeping them up to date after the addition of banish III (which i think was the last new spell added to a spirit. And light spirit offensive mode sucks really bad anyway.)

Pet erase is bst AF2 jackcoat, there's no need for a medicine for it.

AF1 jackcoat uses all of the -na effects.

Sure hope that's not what it is.

why, being able to pop an item with a 0:00 recast to erase your pet > using reward every 90 seconds (non-merited), just to erase your pet

can you think of anything else that those new pet medicines could do besides possibly erase, and... hopefully an attack+accuracy increasing food (jug pets need this ridiculously)

PLDs had Rampart and Sentinel, which served very little purpose. The PLD update gave them a purpose.
