Did SE screw over EU Client users?

Tbh SE sucks horseshit at this stage my downloads havent been this bad since the fuckin ToaU launch updates nearly 2 years ago! we should get someone to put up a complete list of all updated files next time so we can download off a server that doesnt suck donkey balls i mean its a 90meg update and SE makes a bollox of it again -.-

90mb times the 100,000 or so people probably trying to download it at the same time. That's not very small if you ask me. Compared to how bad it used to be, this shit is a cakewalk. I've had to wait a full day before being able to even start updating before.

And come the fuck on, if any of you seriously think SE would code the update to prevent EU client from downloading it while allowing others to, you're either completely fucking neurotic, or French.

why doesn't SE release fucken downloadable update patches and upload them to various file hosting websites so people can download them locally from servers in there own country. Instead we have to waste our fucking time using there shitty PlayOnline program. Time Remaining 10 hours been downloading for 4 hours. I was able to finally click "Check Files" at 4:50PM EST before I left work. When I got home the update was done.

I don't think it was just EU client users - we have 2 installs here - one on the NA version and one on the EU version. Both didn't get the check version till very late, and it came up on both at the same time and downloaded at the same glacial speed.

In the UK, did a force file check about 3hrs after server went down and had my update complete 90mins before server up. Was one of the first on the server and went straight to become one of the first with SCH AF instead of watching Faf sit unclaimed for an hr due to no one on server :D

Most of the members in my LS (NA and EU) couldn't log on until hours after the server came up. None of us got to download the update until about 45 minutes to an hour before the maint was supposed to finish. While I consider myself lucky in that I got it downloaded in a little less than an hour, three hours after maint finished there were still only 400ish people on the whole of Hades.



So, I don't think it had anything to do with SE trying to screw over EU users, I just think they keep denying the fact that everyone and their brother that plays this game is going to want to download the update at the same time.

I still can't even connect to start downloading the update lol probably partly due to shitty campus connection though
