SCH AF Quests

Quest 1: On Sabbitical
First quest is started from Erlene, the scholar flag npc, at. she first sends you to talk to an npc in Bastok (s).

In bastok, talk to the npc outside of the normal metalworks entrance. You are then sent on a search for the professor. The npc in bastok says the professor is probably somewhere in the Derfland front.

Proceed to E-11 of Pashhow (s) and examine the Indescript Markings there for the next CS.

Return to Erlene for your reward: Klimaform Schema

Quest 2: Downward Helix
Wait one game day after completing On Sabbitical. Talk to Erlene to begin the quest.

Erlene sends to you San d'Oria to gather information from a council.

You will receive a CS upon zoning into San d'Oria (s)

After the CS travel back to Eldieme (s) and talk to Erlene.

Zone into Sauromugue (s) from Rolanberry (s) for a CS.

Examine the Indescript Markings at J-7 of Sauromugue (s) for a CS.
You will Receive the key item Ulbrecht's Mortarboard

Return to Erlene for you reward: Scholar's Bracers

Quest 3: Seeing Blood-red
Wait one game day after completing Downward Helix. Talk to Erlene to begin the quest.

Travel back to the Indescript Markings at E-11 of Pashhow (s) that you went to in On Sabbitical.

Go to Eldieme (s) and talk to Erlene
After the first CS read the keyitem letter you received in pashhow (doubtfully required)
Talk to Erlene a second time.

Go to E-10 in Grauberg and examine the blank spot for a CS

Enter the BC fight against Ulbrecht by examining the Indescript Markings.

After killing Ulbrecht return to Erlene for your Reward: Scholar's Mortarboard

After completing the AF "weapon", 1 game day wait is needed to open the next one.

Sauromugue cutscene obtained only after zoning in from Rolanberry-S. No other zone-in gave the CS.

Following that cutscene, an "indescrpit markings" item will give another cs. I think it's J-7.

Edit: Yes, J-7, next to the plateau, in the middle of some goblns. After that, return to eldieme I wager..

Anyone know exactly where in Pashow Marshlands [S] the Klimaform CS is? I been all over E-11 and can't get one. I got the initial CS in Eldieme Necroplis[S] and the one from the galka in front of the Metalworks zone in Bastok Market [S].

I got this CS as thf, so i can tell you that job isnt yoru problem. not sure otherwise... must have missed something or you're examining the wrong thing

There is something to click there, it is against the west wall. I believe it was called Indescript Markings

Japanese player just told me AF body starts somewhere in Bastok [S]. Tough to communicate so didn't get many details. Hope I'm not just repeating whats in the .dats. K going to bed.

There is an NPC in Bastok Markets (S) named Loussire( or around this spelling) he's is a elvaan scholar and he makes the pieces for you. However, the required matierials do not show up on the Auction House and even the NPC said himself special requirements are needed to recieve the matierials he needs to make them. That's what I know through my JP friends. anyways hope someone can finish the rest.

Word on the street is that the key item locations change after being found and accessed by someone on the quest.

They aren't crafted. You are giving the NPC these items for his research. In return, he secures you the armor piece of choice.
