I think it's 2 hours... not too sure. I went afk for awhile and came back with the stored mp effect gone.Originally Posted by Scorsese
Also, Sublimation's 30sec cooldown lends itself really well to following cycle:
Use Sublimation -> reapply Blink/SS -> switch out any -hp gear (penitent's rope, etc) -> Cure -> Activate Sublimation -> rest!
It's an easy, sure-fire way to make sure your defenses stay up while maximizing your Sublimation timers.

Interesting tidbit of info. (Credit to Tanta for finding this initially)
The story you thought ended once you receiving your mortarboard continues on in present day Xarcabard. Zoning in will get a cutscene asking to bring the SCH testimony. The Indescript Markngs to do the limit break quest can be found on the demon platform in G-8.
With AF and Klimaform now at SCH's disposal, have Helixes seen an improvement?
Was fighting froggies in Zhayolm Remnants last night, and a question came to mind...
Do Helices work like standard DoTs, keeping a mob from auto-regening?
Given that my SCH is onry level 30, am I correct in my assumption that a "tic" from a Helix is much longer than a standard tic (someone said equivalent to resting tics, and I think Kaeko's livejournal posted the 52 second duration thing on his synopsis of the job).
If so, wouldn't this trump using standard DoTs as protection when NM fights got rough and wipes/charms would possibly cause an auto-regen?
I apologize if I've missed it, but I've not heard much from Helices prior to the update, and really not much in terms of their applications
Klimaform has a really bad duration/recast time ratio of 1m/3m. Even worse than the pre-update weather spells. You also have to use spells of the same active weather, AND it's self cast only (Black Magic so you can't even AoE it).
Because of these shortcomings, I'm assuming the Macc effect is pretty strong. I've been trying to get myself in a situation to actually use it on something that resists.
Also, to the helices question above, I've never tried it as a holding tool, but it would seem like a bad use of Helix since the duration is very low compared to that of cheaper, faster spells like Dia. Also, nothing about Helices as far as damage seems to have changed.
Found dreamspit .. all the way at H-5... this is soooooo stupid!
I've been able to AoE it with Manifestation. <_______<Originally Posted by Kaeko

Does that mean things like Blazed Spikes work now?
If you can AoE enhancing on Dark Arts now, maybe you can AoE light enfeebles like Silence too? (please!)
Didn't they say that they added enfeeble into light arts too? So that means we can accession paralyze and slow now
SCH Silencga in Einherjar in addition to Graviga now too!Originally Posted by Miltani

Two days later and I'm still running around Pashow [S] -.-
This is horrible.
I didn't bother testing this kind of thing because the description of manifestation still says 'enfeebling and dark magic' only.
If these do work that's great though :D
I'll just give you a heads up. I've already tried Manifestation Sleep II though Addendium: Black. It didn't work. It feels like that spells only naturally learned though Main/Sub will be able to be AoE. Which is wierd imo. /Whm still gives you access to the -Na spells that can be AoE'd, but when you do LA + AD:White + Accession + Poisona as /rdm you get nothing but a single target poisona. All in all I believe SE did that so that jobs will still have there own powers.
But I'll stick with /Rdm and just have to single target everyone when they get a debuff on them. As for AoE Silence and Paralyze don't think so. All they did was allow enfeebling skill to be ranked higher in Light Arts so you can still heal and not have to switch out, but this can be observed on the actual AF as well. Scholar's Robe will enhance enfeebling skill by +15, Scholar's Pants will not as it only does Divine, Enhancing, and Healing skill. So still in the end on HNM type mobs Dark Arts enfeebling will prob be nessicary. Also unless SE changes anything the Accession text still says "Extends the effects of your next healing or enhancing white magic spell to party members within range."
So in an easy post this is what I have found out so far:
Spells learned though "Addendum" can not be made AoE.
*Enfeebling Skill is enhanced though "Light Arts effect using Scholar's Pants"* edit after mistake
When in Campagin spells used though Accession or Manifestion if casted on NPC it wil hit all targets surrounding it.
Are you sure about that? Yesterday I was checking on this and I'm pretty sure I got the same enfeebling skill under dark and light arts, while wearing AF. I just assumed it was the pants since body is not supposed to work under light arts... I'll check again after manteinance I guess x_xOriginally Posted by DragoonChita
With WHM75/SCH37 I get no enhancements in enfeebling with one greater than the other when using either Light or Dark arts. If I recall it was giving me 269 Enfeebling but I might have had +10~+15 in gear on =/ I don't remember what gear I had when I checked, but I am certain both get boosted under Arts.
It may seem like that if your 8/8 Enfeebling merits, but I had 271 Enhancing, Healing, Divine, and 272 Enfeeble (which is the 8/8) other wise my enfeebling should have been 287 which includes the +15 bonus. (This is done completely naked with just Scholar's Pants)Originally Posted by Tsukuyomi
*edit* I stand corrected, it does seem that the "Light Arts does effect enfeebling", but those were the stats I had yesterday. So now the Body and Legs both give +15 to enfeebling
