What is the required Allied Ranking in order to recieve these quests.

Brass Ribbon of Service §§ supposedly, you start off with Bronze Ribbon of Service § so you only need to go up one rank.

I havent done anything rank related myself.. how long does it take to get to this rank? Ive done a few battles, and like the defensive/offensive things, is this enough? and do I have to wait 5 days before I actually get the medal?

The first rank up shouldn't take very much time at all. As far as the medal goes, once you talk to the npc and request a rank evaluation, if you qualify the upgrade is immediate, with a 5 day delay before you can ask for another rank upgrade evaluation.

Thanks, so theoreticly I could log on, get my rank up and teleport quests done in a days time. If I dont qualify, does that mean I have to wait 5 days? or will he allow me to do more ops/battles and come right back to check? I dont want to try and rank up, and then have to wait 5 days, because I wasnt good enough.

I havent seen any sort of guide on any site that has a litte walkthrough of rank ups, in the terms of 'you have to beat these ops, do so many of these battles, etc' for each rank up.

If you talk to him and you don't like the outcome of your evaluation, you can choose to keep trying to get higher or accept the current outcome, if you choose to keep going you can keep talking to him and checking your evaluation status after doing various crap...if you select to keep medal and end evaluation the 5 day timer starts before your next eval.

Nope, actual battles are the best way. I'd guess 2-3 decent battles is enough for the first rank.

But doing Ops that ask you to do a battle is pretty good. You get normal campaign bonus + your ops bonus.

There is one possible hitch for people like me, who haven't done any campaign, nor signed up with any nation. Once you sign up with a nation and do the inital quest, you have to wait 5 days before you can get an evaluation. And from what I read, you need to have earned about 3k allied notes to get the next ribbon. So I signed up the next day, spent a day getting enough AN, and now I have to wait 3 more days before I can get an eval, get my ribbon, and quest my scrolls.
