Listen to some first season episodes, then compare it to some fifth season episodes then compare it to now. Voices done by voice actors can change subtly over time. You are correct, people are making a huge deal out of what is essentially nothing.

I thought it was hilarious. It was a throwback to the old South Park episodes, before they became preachy or political. It was just a silly episode marred with destruction of the town done in a ridiculous and over-the-top way.

Also not one of you can contend that an episode including Randy is a bad thing.

They definitely found some guinea pigs and just went nuts with a few of them. I loved the idea of doing this in Team America (where they realized the lions and they were actually just timid house cats). I thought it was a pretty legit episode.

It kinda left off that there could be a part 3.... I hope not to be honest.... the Craig commentary was funny but I couldn't really get into the whole guinea pig thing

As with the previous one, very few laughs, but I don't know what it was about these 2 episodes, it was still very enjoyable. I guess because it was so completely random and Craig is awesome.

Loved the costumes on the Guinea Pigs. Loved Craig. Loved Randy. Loved the ending.

It was stupid and nonsensical, and that made it awesome.

I thought it was win.

Episode didn't need punch lines or racist cartman, Craig was on ball pointing out every flaw with their curious natures, and the guinea pigs in costumes was beyond fucking adorable, and I had Guinea pigs so i spent more time laughing then going "awwwwww so cute"

Guinea Pirate, but no Guinea Ninja?

Still, showed they didn't need punch lines to get a laugh out of me.
