As cheesy as they use to be, I use to LOVE big match promos. Particularly this one:

Edit: Ugh I hate how they show his career ending injury at the end of it.

Wrestling was so much better back in those days. I don't think there'll ever be anyone as good on the mic as the Rock was.

There will never be another Rock.

Since we're on the topic of wrestling, I can't stand watching TNA. I just don't know why. >_>

It feels "low budget" to me. and the ring is stupid. Keep it 4 corner style

    Re: "Professional" Wrestling

Some of their wrestlers are actually really good. But the writers have them doing stupid crap now.

One of the better matches I've seen:
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=ctqZOsgq7G8

Start at the 2:30 mark and go from there. Abyss is basically the Mick Foley of TNA in regards to what he puts his body through.

Now you have AJ Styles playing the role of Kurt Angle's bitch.

So many good memories from wrestling. In grade school my friends and I always used to watch the PPV's every month even though we knew it was fake. I miss the good ol days of DX, Mick Foley, The Rock, Stone Cold Q_Q, and all the guys that came before them. >o< I want to go watch the famous cage match on youtube :o "OH MY GOD, MICK FOLEY JUST JUMPED OFF THE CAGE, OH MY GOD" such an awesome match...

    Re: "Professional" Wrestling

What made pissed me off about Wrestling is how predictable it was in the longer run.

    1. Tag Team has a 50% chance of breaking up and becoming enemies.

    2. A person's "Character" will change entirely(good -> bad) basically rubbing it into people's faces that it's all scripted.

    3. How predictable the heel/face system is.

Over the years this become more obvious. That said, WCW/ECW vs WWF was certainly a cool "arc".

    Re: "Professional" Wrestling

I remember when WCW vs nWo: World Tour came out for the N64, and I was like, "Holy shit, this is the greatest wrestling game of all time."

That was my golden age of wrestling. When Wolfpac and nWo magically became friends 4 kno raisin, I said fuck this shizzle for rizzle, and stopped watching.

Also, they never gave Disco Inferno the push he deserved, damn it.
