*sigh* I know about the conversation because I played the game. Why do you think I even mentioned comforting Soren? Do you think that I don't know what you're trying to reference to? There's not really that much implied homosexuality. Not extremely, extremely weird when somebody's breaking down after their shitty life story and having it bundled up their whole life. What's he supposed to do, just stand there? Although I think it's kind of weird that all these conversations are taking place and Ashera is just sitting idly.

My first Top 5 list after having Brawl since release in no particular order:

-R.O.B. = A heavyweight character who can fly and has great air manueverability with bair and can stop mid air with dair (which is also his meteor, but a very slow and not very good one I must admit). Has an auto-charging peircing beam, a chargable projectile that you can pick up again and/or hit multiple times with (so can your enemy but it can be difficult), the ability to reflect projectiles, strong throws, an amazing dsmash, a very strong and vertically ranged usmash (although it has almost no horizontal range). His nair is also one of the strongest if not the strongest in the game.

-Jigglypuff = An aerial master. The Wall of Pain is still here and strong as ever. Pound has the most ridiculous range I've ever seen, the power to send your opponent straight up and has very strong recovery abilities. Rollout decimates enemies. Rest isn't as strong as it used to be, but it can still KO at 80%. Although most of her aerials got nerfed from Melee, Fair did not. Its still strong as ever, and although her other aerials were nerfed, her Nair still combos, her Bair still has range and her shorthop Dair still combos into Rest. No meteors, but doesn't need them.

-Link = Range and strength. Link's Gale Boomerang fucks up opponents very often, although sometimes it gets me killed by pulling in an Ike who's charging up fsmash. His ftilt easily kills opponents, his standard A combo punishes any frequent rollers, his dair and uair are still strong as ever, his fair can be shorthopped nicely and the aerial clawshot has a shitload of range and catches people off guard. Bombs work nicely defensively or offensively (I like to pull out a bomb after I KO an enemy to protect myself), Arrows are much better from Melee, and his Spinning Blade got nerfed but is still powerful. His Fsmash can be delayed shitloads to catch people when they lower their guard after the initial swipe/miss and his Dsmash comes out instantly on the front and KOs nicely. His Usmash is a triple hit that works nicely. He's a fast faller and that can cause problems, but with his Tether Recovery you can catch the ledge before the enemy reaches it occasionally (but sometimes I just aerial dodge when I hit Z to Tether, its weird and I can't figure it out). His aerial Spinning Blade isn't as strong as Toon Links either.

-Mr. Game and Watch = The lightest yet one of the strongest characters. His new nair is shitloads better than his old parachute nair from Melee, which is now incorporated into his Fire special for horizontal recovery. His fsmash has a shitload of end delay which can catch people off guard and KOs at lower percents, his dsmash is also insanely powerful and comes out instantly with very little after delay and his usmash, although slower than his others, is also strong. His dtilt is a strong edgeguard, his Oil Panic (although now capped at 60% damage) is great for punishing projectile users (although I'm not sure if it works on Din's Fire) and Judgement, although slow on the ground, is faster in the air it seems and can score you a lucky KO or freeze your enemy. Chef can work to edgeguard as well, but the pan is what deals the most damage. And let's not forget his aerials: Fair is a strong move when timed right (Like Jigglypuff's). his nair is very strong and covers a lot of distance, his uair has a special property that pushes midair enemies upwards which can fuck around with opponents very easily. His dair in strong and can be shorthopped very fast, and his final move: The Turtle. His bair has such reach, priority, comboability and damage it should be labelled as broken. His ftilt is also pretty strong.

-Ice Climbers = I'm not good at playing Ice Climbers, but I hate playing against them. If you get caught in a good Ice Climbers' chaingrab, you're going to be taking at least 30% damage. Their d+b Frost Breath can freeze you and fuck you up, and their God damned Icicles are the most annoying thing in the world. Strong smashes, Nana can meteor smash opponents (but Popo cannot), insane chaingrabs, and a long vertical recovery (as long as both Ice Climbers are present). A dair similar to Link and Mr. Game and Watch's, ranged bair, fair Meteor for Nana, fast ftilt, and most importantly, the strength of two characters at once. A very strong combination indeed.

I'd fit Luigi in there too if I had room, he is fucking sick. I don't have any bottom 5, because this game is balanced as shit... there's strong pros and cons to every character, and they all seem to balance out.

Yeah, just like how Shadow can use a gun, but who would want him to? Sonic is a cult classic, and I think it was a very smart yet SAFE idea to keep to his roots. Sure they could've added some more elements to the character, but the majority of the people that I know enjoy how they implanted him into the game. Different strokes I guess
