I never said they were bad as stated above. I am just tired of everyone using him for the wrong reasons (and just the fact EVERYONE is using him in every other match). Seeing a tournment with Ike vs Ike is just as boring as Marth vs Marth back in Melee.

I had a couple random matches with 3 Ikes vs. me or 3 Sonics vs. Pit.

It seems like every match I play in has a 100% chance of having Ike, Pit, or Sonic.

When those not playing Ike are on him (who switch to Ike after when they lose) I noticed Marth is more capable of KOing now especially in the air as compared to Melee. It might just be me?

If they hit with the tip of the sword, yea. Seems that not only does the damage increase when you do that but stuff like his up+b move totally send you flying but only if it hits right, otherwise it's got very little knockback even at high %.

Alright I am going to be honest here, I was never really big on SS brothers period. I would just button mash on melee and same with Brawl when we first got it even though I only played 4 or so matches. Yesterday I actually sat down and learned how to use a character, Snake in particular. Good god those kicks are ridiculous, his up B specifically. I would throw someone up and just kick the shit out of them, I also love his up firing his rockets, I was bouncing my friends around the stage. I am going to be playing later if anyone wants to go at it. I forgot the friend code, I will post it when I get there.

B attacks are his specials, A are his smash/tilts. ^^

edit: Since I'm a Snake fan myself, I'll give you a quick tip. The last hit of his neutral and down air A add an extra spike damage to it. You know it's the last hit when his kick flashes. You can NOT get the last hit for his neutral A when short hopping due to the long animation, but you can with the other two. Hope that helps

Fox (again, great character but his FS annoys me)
    Jigglypuff........
Jigglypuff was a mack in the cube version and he still is, and no it's not about the "sleep" move. Ike is pretty solid as well. I think they nerfed Falco to a certain degree, smash forward is pretty lame now imo.
The 'new' falco takes some time getting used to... that forward smash thing bothered me at first too.

Pokemon Trainer, Toon Link, Diddy Kong and Pit are newcomer favorites.

Pokemon Trainer is pretty fun, especially since you can dodge lots of Final Smashes with Pokemon Change.

I never thought of that rofl. I've been enjoying trainer, though mostly ivysaur. Charizard is so easy for the opponent to hit and squirtle is so light (though his smallness helps him not get hit.) I should work on Char and Squirt but bullet seed and up smash are so fun

Is everyone really seeing Ike more commonly? I find Sonic coming up more often than not.

I find myself using MetaKnight more than anyone else by far. I love his speed and his ability to kill on the ground and clearly in the air.

What I need to work on is not dying as much. While most of the time when I play I am getting the most or close to the most kills out of who I am playing with I am also getting the most or close to the most deaths as well. I know he has garbage defense just like any other puff ball but his recovery is so damn good. Any advice on how to die less with Metaknight? Or any other weak defense characters for that matter?

Liberal use of his Nuetral B can save you a lot of times. It has very high priority and can interrupt a lot of attacks that would usually kill you. That and really juggling your opponent and jumping out keep him from recovering when they get knocked off.

I do those quite a bit, i find one of the bigger problems being when i am falling to the ground and there is someone waiting to up-A me and knock me the shit outta there. I try to down-b and hit them coming out of the warp but its pretty tough to do it consistently.

you could also up+b and reverse the direction to get away. Most don't know you can control which side you glide to and will move 1 way while you go another.

Mr. Game and Watch has some good moves, his revised up+b "Fire" is good for horizontal recovery now, and his new nair seems to be pretty good too. But he's just too light, I find myself bouncing around everywhere if I try to play as him.

As for Yoshi, please refer to http://www.tubgirl.com

Yoshi is underrated, not that he's amazing. He might turn up "middle tier" to the surprise of many people.
