    craft/synthesis parser

Anyone know of a synthesis parser that can store and sort synthesis' results? Something you could look back on after a few thousand synth's and get real data.

Just keep track every time you sit down to synth, it's not terribly hard

    ahaha

Honestly, keeping track of synthesis results is possibly the easiest thing to track in FFXI.

If you go to windower.net and click the sticky regarding approved 3rd party apps, theres a crafting parser or two in there

Agreed, but alot could be said for many programs that work with ffxi. Much of the time, these tend to be made for convenience sake, and I could see a program like this being very convenient. If it would automatically keep track of synth, results, and time/day/moonphase. If it could sort that data into a database or spreadsheet such as the one you reference. That would all be incredibly convenient. I'm sure there are others out there who feel the same too.

Seriously, I think some of these ppl that seem to love Sath so much would probably rofl at the "Why did the chicken cross the road" joke if he told it.

And my dick rode down from the heavens, on a glorious white steed, and it looked among the masses. It gazed to and fro, admiring his work on this earth, and it thought to itself, "I'm a dick riding a horse, I fucking rule."

I think it's more that Sath isn't afraid to say the things we're all thinking. Especially when it comes to crafting since it's usually the same stupid ass questions. Granted your's was a new one, but Excel and *gasp* a pen and paper are obvious answers.

    Re: craft/synthesis parser

I ended up writing a simple program in Java to help record all my synths. Was during a 4 day period where some people would experience a black screen trying to zone into certain areas... I think I was stuck in my MH in Whitegate at the time. Anyway it's pretty neat, would be nice to see more of these since I think it's really useful and easy to use.

That and Sath was runner up in the "Yo Momma" National Finals where he was judged on originality, quickness, delivery, and sting. All which have transfered nicely over to these boards for vast amounts of entertainment and lolz.

Thx Doc, something like this would be awesome. I fail to see how ppl can't see the utility and convenience of a program like this...
