If more that one wave shows up it's a loss, no way to win, NPCs there or not.

Before this patch Campaign was really a pushover, ok, but now we are back at WotG release where it was stupidly hard... but with nerfed NPCs.

Old NPC style, mobs like are now might work, as it is now it is just frustrating.
You do know that Gnoles are a lot stronger around a Full Moon, right? And yesterday was a full moon. So yeah...

I'd just make sure your nation doesnt lose a starter zone this week or next week might be shit. Though getting zones back is a total joke if it will be nything like recovering eld is from the beasties
I don't think it works that way. NPCs might not be defending areas that were lost but I think they'll still be in the same areas attacking the fortifications instead.

After rereading the old update about the Mantlet's and Belfry's that heal anyone in range, and the beastmen turrets it says that it all depends on the level of technology. It seems like they would help out a lot. So if you want a shot at Campaign sucking marginally less, try to vote for your nation to invest in technology. Could urging people to vote in a game be more useless than urging people to vote in reality? It just may be.

certain mobs seem to have been buffed, but campaign got nerfed all around again w/ the NPC boost. All nations on Ramuh r pushing back the beasties and getting each area back under their dominant influence (and this is w/in 1 day of the new patch)

Did notice that Yuu Mjuu the Awakened and a squad of Templars I think were whittling the Karugo mithra defenders down til others linked, it took a little bit for them to kill one, but they definitely killed her.

I didn't see the Fort thing, but I generally don't do the wall beating anyway, though I did get a weird message while in Castle O waiting for a friend to show up for Yag Glue farming (before we found out you can get it off the DC yag Bards in Sauro/Meri) dunno if it's just a higher level Yag or a death squad but I saw this: "Soandso was defeated by the Yagudo Yojimbo."

Couldn't see a body or a Yag Yojimbo anywhere though.
Those are one type of the mobs by(and after) the 4 lever door. They are one of them that drop the Gnat Pellets needed to pop the 5MAB/+absorb gloves NM.

I was hoping it wasn't as bad as people was saying it was...

    1) Showed up to Sauromugue
    2) Saw only 1 Yag NM up
    3) Yag NM solo's our Vhino hero + 6 npc's and campaign ends before ANY additional yagudo show up
    4) Yag NM 1 shots me with aeroga2(920 damage w/ stoneskin)
    5) Campaign ends I get 110 xp

    wow...

55 people in Jugner, and we got wtfpwned in the face by Shadowhand and Shadowfang. Shadowfang was going alright, but then Hand showed up and everything went to hell afterwards.

    Re: Beastmen running willd?

the strength of the armies relate to the morale and prosperity of the nation it seems. when the beastmen armies are this strong the only way to beat them is to kill 1 at a time. get ur home nation army to focus on the same 1 and pull one at a time. its the only way to get their morale back down and start to lose some battles.
