Yay, they unbroke it! My BLU will be happy in campaign against non magic using mobs once again... /hurray!- Added MP to Beastman Confederate monsters without respect to their job.

Amen to this and the other fixes.Originally Posted by Edrick

I know most beastmen types already had mp, the thf quadav's that come with softstep in rolanberry always had mp which i found strange being they were thf's.
all campaign mobs had MP before march 10, but it was removed from jobs without innate MP. now they're adding it back.Originally Posted by Lordender

And then depopped with no aggro, so you pretty much had to zerg it's last 10 percent or else *poof*.
Edit: Yay, I can sap beastmen again and the NPCs don't fold faster than a Taru SMN in full Zenith!
They almost shouldn't stack, we don't need another massively broken job.Originally Posted by Xanthe
/SCH is your option with no RDM (but I assume ballad still works, and COR)
I'd say SCH is self sufficient in exp as long as you don't have a PLD tank so you can actually exp without "needing" a RDM, if 1 is hard to find. (1-70)
No pld = nin tank = no haste = get warriors = no haste = why bother ;pOriginally Posted by Koyangi

Does the AoE From Avatars/Drain Samba etc working with Pets still work?
It happened in beseiged i saw in another thread too where garuda was draining HP.

Fucking yay!
Sounds like it must have been better while glitched. Apparently some effect reduced the interval before you can use a BP again (i.e. can use BPs more often while glitched), and now it's been fixed and the intervals are normal (longer) again?
Was always set to 1min, no matter how much -BP gear I had on. Completely fucked up my timing/rotations.
Definitely good news, but did they also fix the issue where self/party target BPs (or automaton spells) would be interrupted if it's current auto-attack target dies? I hate seeing my automaton or avatar almost done casting Cure V or Healing Ruby II then stopping just because the mob which wasn't even it's target died.
No, at least not as part of this fix... reportedly this was changed in monday's patch, but on tuesday healing breath was still doing this. Funny though, HB doesn't get cancelled if the move which triggers the HB kills the mob - I guess that means the targeting check happens before the HB starts.Originally Posted by Khamsin

FINAL FANTASY XI Version Update (Mar. 10): Follow-Up 2
Below is the list of version update information that was missing from the Mar. 10, 2008 version update information.
The following changes have been made that affect PCs that are using pets and have "Allied Tags":
- Pets will now be affected by area of effect attacks from monsters during the campaign battles.
- Monsters will now target pets during the campaign battles.
We apologize for the late notification and for the inconvenience this may have caused.
$&#* @ mobs being able to target pets. That was my largest pet peeve on my PUP during besieged.
(especially when I don't get aggro, yet my pet appears to be a magnet to every mob within 50 feet)
gdi SE I better get exp for my pet's actions if there doing this.Originally Posted by Kaisha

You can even get clever and drop /heal 's into the macros so they rest and stand up before starting the haste cycle.
Get your friend to come SMN and main heal. He's happy and you're happy.
