Hey I did a search for this but could not find any info. Has anyone designed their own shirts and found a good place online to print them for you?

If you are into graphic design what is a good website to use to create your own custom shirts?

Best idea is to deal with a local printer if you can. Unless you have an awesome T-shirt idea, the online merchants will rape your profits. Just my 2 cents tho.

i wasn't really looking to sell my tshirt i just wanted a good place to go so i could upload the design and print out a few for friends/family and such.

Honestly, nothing comes close to a properly screenprinted t-shirt... cafepress.com is ok for direct to shirt printing, it's not like the t-shirt transfer crap that some places use.... they have a very limited selection of t-shirt colors though.

I would just go through the phonebook and get some prices from screenprinters, trust me, it costs them next to nothing to print t-shirts, so they may give you a great price even if you don't order that many. I have a friend in Iowa that owns a manual press, if you don't mind paying shipping, I can check on prices for you.

Thanks for all the great replies and ideas I am going to go check out a couple places locally and also a couple online sites and see which ones have a better price and printing process.
