agreed, this was one of the parts of the update. I was very over it. Hopefully it takes them forever to fix or they realize, "Hey that was actually a great thing we accidentally did there".

I'm sad now. No, can't have bst's get a useful buff to pets, not in SE's house.

Yes erase effect and lowered reward timers are win, but more is needed and this just feels like a kick to the nuts.

Shame they don't have drain samba then though

Unless that's a woosh, you can obtain drain samba (II?) as a sub.

The pet samba thing was awesome but I figured it wasn't on purpose.

Hell yeah i know, i'm so totaly with you! Imagine, BST doing any sort of end game activity... that could so break the game. Imagine the monopoly on Hydra drops, that could be horrible for the economy! What would be of the rest of the LSs that want to fight it too? This would be so bad if it stayed there...
I'm totaly with this really, it's so horrible i even feel ashamed to be a BST now.

Doing stuff with low member groups is really bad for the game, it completely destroys it! Well, unless the groups contain anything but pet jobs, then it's ok.

PD: In all seriousnes, never heard of this being done actualy, but i'd love to see it. XD

They are forgetting the stats on the LV. 45 Iron Ram Sollerets (feet) and Iron Ram Chainmail. Although, I wouldn't mind a Set Bonus of Attack+5505 lol. Maybe they will forget these on next maint. Then have to schedule ANOTHER one just to fix these

Remember the Mazurka buff with the Harlequin's Horn? I think this is one of those things that they put into the game to make us happy, then remove it to crush our spirits.

How about giving us our non-targetable pets back in Campaign since the new DRG update doesn't apply to Campaign and the Samba effect is being taken away. -_-

OK! Everyone who cares about the "Samba" on pets heres a walkthrough of how you can try and help

1) Go to Playonline.com, scroll down to "Membership Information" Or click: https://secure.square-enix.com/cisweb/app/
Entering this will give you your Playonline Information and your "Playonline Email" which is usually a random arrangement on a Letter and Numbers.

2) This here is the link to "Comments and suggestions" Email: https://secure.playonline.com/supportus/index.html

3) Scroll down to "Comments & Suggestions". Click to Email them. Fill out the information, and In the request box make a sincere request to Keep "Samba" Effects on Avatars/Pets ingame.


Im doing this in hopes enough people ask that they decide to keep the feature.
It could work, Every little bit helps.
Post this on Linkshell Forums if you care, alla, Killingifrit, everywhere, maybe we'll get enough people.
Hell if someone can post it on a popular Japanese FFXI website Forum that'd be great too!

I noticed today what I hope SE really thinks is the glitch is in campaign my wyvern been getting Samba effects from dnc and /dnc outside my party; so I'm hoping SE will leave pets working dnc and /dnc in party and only stops pets from gaining sambas from random dnc and /dnc outside of my pt.
