Ignore the TSMs'. You'll come to learn that they're the fucking morons of this forum.
On topic: Movie sucked. Nothing original and Liv Tyler is a useless bitch once again.
Lurk moar so you don't wind up looking like an idiot when you strike out against all precedent and say that Gandorf isn't as brainless as the day is long. In other news, who the fuck are you?Originally Posted by chicomagiko

I was trying to look for the one with the guy in the tux saying do you know who I am? but arguing with you is rather meaningless as you think your so important here on the internet.
[spoiler:3g94mhou]Having a higher post count or being more well known here will not get you laid or in 10yrs will be worth money. Sorry to break the news to you like this![/spoiler:3g94mhou]

God damn.
Anyway, in an attempt to rerail (it won't work because thestalkmore will have to respond to this post)... I thought both movies were OK.
The Strangers was a little better than I was expecting, I'd easily pay $5 to see it.
i like secs
at the end of the Strangers trailer, what does the girl say when Liv Tyler asks "Why are you doing this to us?"
It sounds like "Because you're a hoe". But Im guessing it's "Because you're a home"?
edit: nevermind. It's "Because you were home"
Goodbye 10 dollars i'll never see you again.
Compared to almost any horror movies in the last few years The Strangers was decent. There hasn't really been a decent horror movie since The Descent.
The descent was decent? Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong movie.Originally Posted by Amarok
Did any of you guys get to see The orphanage? Same guys that made pan's labyrinth, I still hold it in higher regard then any of these recent movies that have come out. Was in spanish like pan's labyrinth, but was definitely worth reading the subtitles.Originally Posted by SathFenrir

^Del Toro had a small part producing the film, other than that nothing. But yeah, they were advertising it as, "From the Director of Pan's Labyrinth..." Movie wasn't good, eh.
If you like Gullermo, check out "Espinazo de el Diablo," a.k.a. "Devil's Backbone." Another ghost story, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Yeah i was going by what the commercial was saying, didn't know much about the connection between the two. Ill definitely look for that though you think i could find it somewhere online or would I have to go to one of the random obscure movie rental places to find it? haha.Originally Posted by Meteora
This is a good movie. While it had a simple and expected story line; they way its told, and the acting makes it all worth it. I walked out sick to my stomach though. My friend and I were the only one in the theater. =(*'-')//
What I want to know is what inspired them to make this movie. Like it said in the beginning, the movie is based on actual events of a home invasion in 2005. I'd like to know whats fact and whats fiction.
Edit: Or was that entirely Hollywood spin and the 'inspierd by true events just part of the movie'? XD
Edit2: If so, then I guess that's their catch. HOLLYWOOD YOU HAVE FOOLED ME FOR THE LAST TIME!
How did I miss this gem of a thread, oh I know how, I was under stalkmore's desk blowing him. Then I made him a sandwich.Originally Posted by thestalkmore
