The Strangers was a little better than I was expecting, I'd easily pay $5 to see it.

Compared to almost any horror movies in the last few years The Strangers was decent. There hasn't really been a decent horror movie since The Descent.

Did any of you guys get to see The orphanage? Same guys that made pan's labyrinth, I still hold it in higher regard then any of these recent movies that have come out. Was in spanish like pan's labyrinth, but was definitely worth reading the subtitles.

^Del Toro had a small part producing the film, other than that nothing. But yeah, they were advertising it as, "From the Director of Pan's Labyrinth..." Movie wasn't good, eh.

If you like Gullermo, check out "Espinazo de el Diablo," a.k.a. "Devil's Backbone." Another ghost story, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah i was going by what the commercial was saying, didn't know much about the connection between the two. Ill definitely look for that though you think i could find it somewhere online or would I have to go to one of the random obscure movie rental places to find it? haha.

This is a good movie. While it had a simple and expected story line; they way its told, and the acting makes it all worth it. I walked out sick to my stomach though. My friend and I were the only one in the theater. =(*'-')//

What I want to know is what inspired them to make this movie. Like it said in the beginning, the movie is based on actual events of a home invasion in 2005. I'd like to know whats fact and whats fiction.

Edit: Or was that entirely Hollywood spin and the 'inspierd by true events just part of the movie'? XD
