Got it from here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Strangers
Pan's Labyrinth was like a sick fucking children's movie but damn that was a pretty good movie.
I hear The Strangers is good for nowaday(horror movies) also.
Yeah, based on a true story is usually bullshit in movies. It had some good scares, but started to get pretty dumb after a while. Everything the girl did was really stupid.
Back when I was younger, like 10 yrs. old, a similar thing happened in my Aunt's house with all my cousins and all, and it was scary as shit. A few of my family members were gathering by the door about to go out to walk or something at like 8:00 pm (it was fairly dark outside, and places in the house that had no lights on were dark too). So my grandma noticed a black figure leaning on the wall of the dining room, so she turned on the light and what do you know a masked fucker was there on the wall. Then he said "Does Josefa live here?". LOL comes to mind pretty much, this masked guy, in my family's dark dining room, hiding, asks if somebody lives there? Of course my grandma screamed which caused everyone else to scream and he tried to snatch her purse, he failed though and ran like fuck to the door and had a getaway car ready.Originally Posted by Iced

God that movie was such a depressing roalercoaster.
Just a bunch a of stupid decisions like every other horror flick made.
It was really creepy near the beginning when that guy just appears in the house. Other than that, typical stupid girl in horror movie.
the ending got me. D:
I would have to say that the scariest part of this movie for me was the blood curdling screams. Only because they seem so -real-. It is hard to emulate screams like that, whether you are an actor or not.
And then of course the line "Because you were home" makes people realize that shit like that can happen to anyone.
