Internet Adapters

Ok, so I really want to take advantage of the WFC that Brawl has to offer so I can participate in tourneys and battle my friends, but my wii won't connect reliably to the wireless internet that I am currently using on this laptop. I don't really know why it wont connect, but it comes in phases... sometimes it will connect (briefly) but most times it wont.

So I am curious what kind of internet adapters for wired internet are good to use with the wii? I know about the official wii product, but all that thing seems to be is a glorified USB cable network adapter. Is that the best thing to buy or is there a third party product that works just as well? I've been searching around and can't really seem to find anything definitive so I thought I'd ask for opinions here.

Or maybe someone could help me figure out why my wii wont wirelessly connect to a network my laptop can get an "excellent" signal from?

I've got an Intec one that works great, I think they're pretty much all identical anyway.

Looking at your avatar reminded me that I found out yesterday that you can use Lucas as an electric missile if you PK Thunder yourself into someone. I about shit my pants when I did it on accident. lol

it's totally awesome, but sucks if you do it at the wrong angle and accidentally shoot yourself off the stage

also yeah, its really hard to fuck up an ethernet adaptor.. id be amazed

i got the Datel one (the one they sell in every retail store), works really well. And yea, wifi is unreliable beyond belief.
