It's more than that, to me anyway. Paul was cool enough to look past her handicap and showed her love and was willing to enter into marriage with her. She turns out to be every bit a conniving bitch as the rest of the trash that tries to get with him. He needs to hire some goons to rip off her other leg and beat her senseless with it.

Well, *edit*Heather is a bitch, and her PR campaign for Paul's money obviously backfired.

Paul won this whole thing if *edit*Heather got 48.7 million. In her ELEVEN MINUTE press conference after the ruling, she explained that Paul McCartney was "only" worth 800 million, instead of the 1 billion that his lawyer claimed. She also complained that she was stuck living a "B list" lifestyle even with this money, that 70K (a month?, a year?) wasn't enough for their child, and that the judge shouldn't have disclosed the amount she was getting to the public.

So if she got 50 million off him, she got what she was entitled to as a golddigger that married a rich man who didn't make her sign a prenup. It was something like 33 million in immediate assets, and the rest to be paid later, partly comprised of the child support. The judge obviously ruled in favor of Paul, because he made his money before she ever came around. She was going to get something substantial just by marrying him, but 50/800 (6.25%) million seems about right, and is actually pretty fair when you think about how Steven Speilberg lost 100 million in 1980-something when he divorced, and he was worth maybe 200 million at the time. Or how Michael Jordon gave 168 million to his ex-wife in 2006 following their 2002 separation. Mind you, both of these relationships started when these guys were nobodies.

In terms of pricy divorces, this was not one of them. The British press had a field day with her this morning too I'm told.

$70,000 a year for child support is not a whole lot for him. He can make 70k by showing up to 1 speaking engagement. I actually think McCartney got off pretty easy. Yeah, between 6 and 7% of his net worth and only 70k a year. He had a very good attorney.

Edit: like I said, Strahan got off a lot worse, and he's worth probably 5% of what Paul is worth. $18,000 a month in child support, as well as 15.3million up front and a multi-million dollar mansion.

But ya, I think Paul got ripped off and this just goes to show that if you marry and have money get him/her to sign a Prenup. Everyone knew she was a goldigger but Paul didnt want to believe it, I guess now he's suffering the consequences. I also think she was a total bitch for claiming things like he beat her, meanwhile everyone who was close to them was saying she was the aggressive one in that relationship. As a result she stained his reputation on a lie, and now its going to haunt him for years to come.
