Laptop Power

My laptop been acting weird lately. When I turn on the laptop, it'd be on for only like 5 to 10 minutes max and then it'd just turn off. Like Poooooof black screen, no shutting down or anything. It'd just turn off after 5-10 mins. I tried turning it on w/o the battery and it'd still happen.The hard drive is running fine, something must be wrong w/ the power but I don't know what. Is there anyway to find out and fix it? Thanks!

Make sure fans are coming on par usual and it's not getting retardedly hot

/nod, overheating would be the most reasonable cause for this, i've never heard of external power supplies having the "shut down after X minutes" syndrom oO
try checking the temps with speedfan, as long as your chipset is supported that's the easiest way of finding heat problems
