Re: Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

Umm, Before Crisis should take place before Crisis Core... although it sort of connects with it (I think the scene with Zack/Cissnei at the beach is present in BC as well.)
And wth, Sephiroth doesn't kill Zack.. >.> And the Crisis isn't him summoning meteor, he doesn't do that until the end of FF7. Seriously, did you even play any of them? lol...

Now, Starr.. just play the game, everything is explained (in fact, it's explained extremely well..)

Well. Cleared it entirely. 100% Missions, all the shit gotten and done. I used the official guide for the second time I cleared it, it's very useful for those who are new to games like this. Ending was touching, my eyes got watery when
    Spoiler: show
    Zack died
. It's a great, great game and gives alot of info if you haven't played FF7 yet or just didn't understand bits and pieces.

I haven't cleared FF7 ever. It's the only one I haven't cleared yet but I do have(the game in my house). Just by playing CC, it's motivated me to clear it now to know how it goes on in detail since it's not hard to figure out how FF7 ends. Anyways if you wanna know why I didn't clear 7 yet, it's because the graphics just repelled me. Ino,ino the story makes up for it but graphics mean alot to me. FF8 I could deal with cause it was normal but 7 is just cubes, it looks rediculously bad. Not that I blame them, it's a good looking game for when it was released but meh, i'll play it now anyways.
The story of 7 repel most people aswell because in the beginning it's so fucking complicated(storywise).

    Anyways, that's my say. ^^

FF7 is a fad, and so is everything about it, loving it was a fad, hating it was a fad... loving it is a fad again, get with the times.

Story doesn't make up for graphics. Story makes up for game play and vice versa. Graphics should not be an issue, it certainly shouldn't be an issue when playing RPGs at least.

I think people hate FF7, because it is extremely over-hyped, and when they went out and bought it and played it and got disappointed, the haters club recruits them on the internet.

It was fantastic for people like myself who played it soon after it's release. We've never had anything like FF7 at that point, so we over-hyped it and are the indirect cause of to the founding of the FF7 haters club.

The way I see it, you're a huge tool no matter what side you're on.

Have this sat on PSP ready for when I'm done with work end of this week... from playing the start of it though I have to admit (yes I'm an FF7 fangirl in that it got me into RPGs in the first place) it's raised a wry smile on more than one occasion when I've heard music or sound effects resurrected from the original, or seen a location re-done. It's actually interesting to see Sephiroth as more of a person than on his total flip-out bad guy mode he ends up in in FF7.

The one thing that is REALLY annoying me is the damned "activating combat mode" voice at the start of every single encounter. It's also a little bit harder to put down and pick up quickly than I tend to like in handheld games - it's not one I can get away with dipping into for 5 minutes during a lunch break but that's just me.

You could always just hate all jRPGs... that's the cool thing these days, too.

    Bumpish I guess?

Does anyone know if there is an accessory that protects against the Death spell? I'm doing some of the later missions, and getting 1 shotted is highly irritating. Sometimes you just can't cover the ground to interrupt a spell. If so, do you know where to get it?!

Mission 6-4-4 treasure chest nets you Nibel Accessory shop.

You can buy it there for 5000 gil. I know there's other places to get it though because I never bought one and had a few.

Amazing, that when I read his post, I said to myself "Safety Bit" remembering the accessory from FFVII, 10 years ago.

Finished FFVII:CC not long ago, really good ending. It didn't have a lot of challenging parts once you get access to costly punch and the 2 break (hp/damage) items. I've been trying to get all the genji gear and prepare for fighting the boss in mission 9-6-6 (can't for the life of me remember the name). So annoying when you have 4 DMW materia (between lv1-mastered) and heavenly DMW 'speed' only to still have to wait 5 minutes for a DMW to activate and it being the one that you don't need or it jumping to a summon.
