F= m* deltaV/deltaT is true for gravity because g is constant and v is linear (integral of constant = linear function + constant), but it's wrong in general. Nowhere in this picture did they say "a" was gravity. For all we know, "a" could be increasing or decreasing (air resistance slowing down acceleration, someone being attached to a large spring being slammed into a wall). Hell, g isn't even constant if we want to be nitpick.
Why not go with the classical mechanics equation (F = ma, dp/dt= ma )? Or at worse, F= m *dv/dt. Whoever wrote this never had physics class in college, and it make the whole thing look stupid. The use of delta killed the joke for me, so if you think you are a nerd for finding it funny, think again!
Delta can only be used for linear function, and it's used to describe an interval between 2 value. You need to use dx for small approximation.Delta is fine. Does nobody remember limits and Calc 1?
