I wasn't attempting to discredit support at all, nor am I right now... But this is about the perspective and job of a tank. Including every roll that assists in them doing their job is just superfluous to anyone whose been playing FF for more than a month in this topic.

Obviously all tanks need support and it's an incredibly important roll, but there's little need to remind people of it in a post centered around how easily an individual tank can deal with certain situations. I mean, if you're going praise about how support helps too when everyone knows this, why not also mention DDs? You sure don't want to fight Tiamat for 6 hours when you can for 30 minutes, and that can easily effect how smooth a fight goes. I'd even wager that can be under-appreciated more often sometimes (I'm always over-appreciate of my support of anything, if I get a compliment at an event over how I tank I often redirect it to how well my support was). But is any of that really important for this thread? No.

Regardless, you could have the best or the worst support there with you at Tiamat, and you really have little to no control over it. What you do have control of however, is how much support is needed to keep you alive. My post was attempting to say that all of the three primary tanking jobs are capable of surviving terror or really anything else Tiamat has for you with reasonably low amounts of support needed. To the point where as I said, it really isn't a primary concern.
