How do you dodge Tabuu (Tron)'s one hit KO thing when he goes into the center of the level and throws shockwaves. BOSS BATTLE IS FUCKING GAY ON INTENSE AND VERY HARD D: All I can do is kill him before he does it or I die (thats how i beat hard anyway)

Also does Co-Op unlock the trophies?

Yeah, I have trouble dodging the first one, the rest are cake. Would it help to stand near the edge so it takes longer to get to you?

Safe to assume that spot dodging toward it is safest way? Rather than away

Spot dodging is when you hit down, side stepping.

For me, the easiest to dodge is to roll twice to the right and once to the left. This is of course, if you're standing fairly far out on the left of the stage.

If you roll right three times you will die.

I'm pretty sure the videos I've seen of people doing it on youtube just have them throwing up their shields right before it hits 3 times in a row, no dodging or anything...

Nope, it blows right through the shield and kills you. Most likely they're just doing the spot dodge as mentioned earlier. This worked best for me as well. Intense was a beast, but Squirtle kicked Tabuu's ass. :D

Also, yes you do get the unlock for completing it on Co-Op.

How do you do it with Squirtle? I keep trying Intense with Charizard, and I get through until like the last 10% of Tabuu, where somehow he always manages to kill me.

I found lucas to be the easiest to use for boss battles so far. Just Dair everything and I usually beat most of them within 40-50 seconds

I did most of the bosses with Charizard's Rock Smash. I just found Squirtle easier to use against Tabuu. He jumps higher, he's quicker, he's just easier for me to control, so I used him on Tabuu and Rayquaza. For me, I just tried to play it as defensively as possible. I did most of my damage with Squirtle's Aeriel Up A. I'd just try to get a few hits in then hang back until he attacked, dodge, couple more hits, rinse and repeat. It was slow going and took me 4 or 5 tries but I finally got it.

Essentially though, it just comes down to persistence and move memorization and using whoever you're better with. If you say you got him down that low with Charizard, I'd probably just continue what you're doing. He'll go down eventually.

toon link down A rapes pokey/duon/ that other robot boss. his neutral air is also pretty good for hitting twice all the time

Sometimes against Duon, you can get stuck on top of him like a platform, and he can't do shit all about you really. Maybe if the sword part bobs his head down, but using Charizard if you get put on top of him, he's pretty much dead in 2 seconds.
