Theres alot of custumizing already in the game that I already know alot of people will take for for example, the quest system, npc scripting, item scripting, and a ton of other shit is flat out not included in the engine, it was all done by myself. Alot of the behind the screen shit if you will. If you have some ideas for stuff to add let me know and ill see if I can add it. Keep in mind I am a noob programmer so I can't do everything and if I can manage it, it very well may be half assed, but I will do my very best.

School is slowing me down big time, i'm in school and a summer math class, so my time is kind of limited and hence why this may take a bit longer.

I hope that this is as enjoyable as many think, its hard for me and my brother alone to add content, obviously him nor I are good writers so quest stories are hard, and keeping the game full of new content is a rather large challenge. I don't want this to end up like a shitty version of habbo hotel and what to keep an active player base for how much time him and I have spent on this.

Well, naturally, you'll have to do items, quests, spells, etc. yourself since those are unique to your game. To not do so would be like making an RPGMaker3k game with only the stock characters and sprites. I was referring more toward changes to how the engine handles the mechanics of the game itself.

Yeah, fundamental law of coding large projects. Not only does it let you back everything up, it lets you recall old versions of the project in case you made some changes that don't work out so well.

CVS is pretty dated these days. If you've never used version control before, save yourself the hassle and just stick with SVN.
