There are distinctions that can be drawn everywhere. I am ok in general with people that farm their gil buying abjurations, etc. from other legit LSs that don't have a need for an item that will just be wasted anyway. But I do have a problem with people that buy gil then solicit people to go spawn mobs specifically for them so that they can buy the items. I think thats a pretty clear distinction, but people like you like to blur lines so that you feel justified in doing the things you do. Nothing I am going to do is going to stop you, but I am just calling you on your sanctimonious shit.

Telling people that "you will own them" if they say its hard to fund a relic without RMT, then doing it through RMT is pretty freaking lame.

If you disagree, I don't care really, but you haven't said anything to disprove it, so don't act like you have figured out that we play in an amoral game world as if its some kind of stunning revelation. We all do what we can justify to ourselves, some can just justify far more than others. The only real problem that I have is when people get self-righteous about it and then look down upon other people that don't want to give up the other aspects of the game (and life for that matter) like self-respect just to get a relic in a month. This isn't some kind of brilliance that no one else has figured out. Its more like we have all faced it in some manner, and have turned it down as illegitimate.

Wopa: The fact is most players cannot make 6-10mil easily in this game, even though you think it's so easy. Most of the players you sold Haidates to were probably desperate enough to buy the gil because it's frustrating not having "crucial" pieces of gear sometimes.

Also, anyone retarded enough to pay 25 million for an A.body in this economy is almost definitely a gilbuyer. Hell, anyone retarded enough to pay more than 4 million for it is almost definitely a gilbuyer... Morrigan's Robe is only 7-9mil depending on your server and only requires a month or two of consecutive Arrapago Runs. Marduk's Jubbah is even easier to get, with a nice high drop rate off the Madame.

And there are only so many "niche" markets to corner, and every time one gets shot down, it reduces the number left until a new update with new items and gear.

Gil is not hard to obtain as long as you are willing to put in the time and effort and have a plan.

Personally, I still only make 100k per day just doing low risk crafting... with an additional 2m per month from gardening. I'm old school like that I guess, but that doesn't mean I couldn't make more if I took another path.

Oh, and along the lines of what Wop was saying about selling abj... If you've had a salvage static for long enough, and capped out certain drops... it might be time to sell some of those... lots of people have plenty of points to pay for the low chance of a 15, 25 or 35, but lack a static or lack the knowledge to form their own pick ups.

Seems like relics ends up RMT'd too me.

I like to point out that some if not most NA relics are funded by the work of 40 people who in some cases have to pay entrance fees for dyna and the guy tossing the most salad gets the 100's free. If that is not enough, usaly the LS leader in some cases takes the LS bank and buys a relic gun for him/herself or to the guy/girl giving out the most blow jobs. Or as some people would call it, business as usual in the united strokes of america.

Actually I sold most of the initial ones for 10-20m. <.<

And hey I didn't technically monopolize it! For the longest time no one at all would even try to camp it, and the few that did try would wipe to BB/get discouraged over it not popping for 4-10+ hours, and never come back.
