I would think a lot of major endgame HNM LS have sold from the loot pool, no? I'm not talking major drops, but plenty of LS that have been around sell Assjammers, I would assume, since it's fairly easy to cap out on them, and to a lesser degree, Z.Mitts/N.Head/Z.Feet. I doubt anyone complains about that.

Anyone remember back in like 2003-2004 when people would shout 50k reward for helping them get a coffer key for AF1? Killing Dark Spark maybe? That's pretty much equivalent to handing someone a rare/ex paper - the guy paying you isn't doing much in either case.

I made a lot of money off killing sky gods in small groups while farming for our own abjs, we just got lucky with synthesis drops. Farmed waters and ulli pop items too, more recently. Did a lot of ENMs, every time they were up, back before they were spammed to death.

Not that I do it personally but what does it matter how you get an item whether it be by crafting, farming, ect. or killing NMs as long as you earn it?

Also, every person who buys an item from you is probably one less person you'll have to worry about camping against. I wonder how many monk level another job and join king shells just to get their black belt items.

The Relic obtaining process seems to lend itself to all sorts of nefarious hijinks and drama.

Seems like most of the shiney shit in this game does that too though...

It wasn't an emo Alla post about me complaining about being broke, it was a post rolling my eyes at the often insane lengths people have to go to in order to get these items. I couldn't be bothered to attempt to get one. That's where the fun stops, and when the game isn't fun, why are you playing? There is "fun and challenging", and then there is "yeah, fuck that." For me, this falls under #2.

2: Build a LS Strong enough to sell items they don't need = RMT
3: Selling items to fund a relic = RMT.
4: Crafting = RMT
5: Farming = RMT
6: Buying items that you farm the money for because you dont have time otherwise = RMT
7: Doing anything to net some sort of profit = RMT.
8: Any of the "7" above while being named Ringthree = OK ^^

Yeah, sadly, I'm not joking or making shit up.

We literally got 22m per ore for 15 ores. He already had one piece of black gear. Took him a long, long time to get us all the money too, and we were going crazy in LS about it for a month. We were really the only LS on the server at the time that could do the Ouryu BC, besides a very small JP group that wouldn't sell to him. LS was called Hajimari, we didn't last for too long after that though, like three months... lol. Lots of drama. Was a splitoff from HiddenPower.
