Why is this so hard to understand? I don't believe this is an oversimplification of the issue-- there is never any justification for murder, never any ifs, never any buts, no rationalizing, no analyzing, just plain wrong. Lets put it this way:

A wise man knows how to stand up for himself. However, an even wiser man knows when/where to choose such battles.

When it comes to questioning an anti-gay man's "manhood" by hitting on him, you're not only trying to reason with an already unreasonable person, you're putting yourself in harms way when the kid tries to get back at you for humiliating him in front of his friends.

Theres a difference between doing whats right and doing whats good for you. My only point is that had he done the latter he could still be alive.
