So I just uploaded a picture of the A.Head Abj I got today, and it renamed it when I saved it to Image:Aquarian_Abjuration-_Head_description.png instead of Image:Aquarian_Abjuration:_Head_description.png, same with the icon.
Any reason?

The character ":" is a reserved character, and thusly cannot be used for a file name.Originally Posted by Apelila
Well someone gets to fix it then; the template generates the file names those items look for, and I don't know how and am sure I don't have access.
That's perfectly fine the way you're doing it. Nothing needs to be modified, and the item pages are being formatted properly this moment by Septimus. Files with :, #, &, +, @, %'s in the name are renamed accordingly since they conflict with URL syntax.
Colons (:
- Pagenames remain the same with colons.[/*:m:1eifh8jy]
- Images and links to images replace the colon with a hyphen character.[/*:m:1eifh8jy]
Hashes (#):
- Pagenames, Images, and their respective links are be named without the hashmark.[/*:m:1eifh8jy]
Ampersands (&):
- Pagenames, Images, and their respective links replace the ampersand with the word "and".[/*:m:1eifh8jy]
Plussies (+):
- Pagenames, Images, and their respective links replace the plus symbol with the word "Plus" (yes first letter capitalized).[/*:m:1eifh8jy]
Commercial ats (@):
- Pagenames, Images, and their respective links replace the ampersand with the word "at".[/*:m:1eifh8jy]
Percents (%):
- Pagenames, Images, and their respective links are be named without the percent symbol.[/*:m:1eifh8jy]
I fixed it. And I updated all of the general items with ":" in their names to display proper image links. (I.E. items that cannot be used.) So anyone who needs to upload any abjuration description images can easily do so by clicking on the image link on the page- it will automatically rename the file to the wiki-correct name.Originally Posted by Apelila
I got the BGWiki:Formatting page started up... can't think anymore on expanding it atm. :ashira:
