The release of a remake of a classic game is certainly cause for celebration among fans. With the impending release of Square Enix's Star Ocean: Second Evolution, the company has seen it fit to offer a big Tri-Ace blowout to fans.

According to the Square Enix blog, the company has planned the blow out on Famitsu next week. It will reportedly include media and information on Star Ocean 4, Infinite Undiscovery and Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One.

This RPG extravaganza is certainly shaping up to be an exciting one, so stay tuned for more updates on this event as we get them!

Certainly good knews! I heard about Star Ocean: Second Story release from a Game Informer i got a month or so back, really anticipating it, i hope it doesnt suck. Thats true, i actually did have a pretty good time With Kingdom hearts for the GBA, I forgot about that, but it was in a fun way o .O;

I don't give a shit what it looks like (although VP2 had excellent graphics), I just care about the story and characters. I hope Hrist is the main Valkyrie in this game, been too long with her being second fiddle.

Signs are pointing to Lenneth being the main Valkyrie character at least (The teaser video released today showed Lenneth raising someone as an Einherijar). The main character of the game is not a Valkyrie. It's a male human.

It looks cool, but kinda dull the first 3 min were just like random space scenes <_< the beginning was the most exciting part I think

It seems like they're announcing the platform in the famitsu coming up, so excited :D whatever console this is on is what I'm gonna buy next lol

While I do like Lenneth, Hrist needs her own fucking game already. But whatever, I have faith in Tri-Ace to not fuck up one of my favourite series of all time. Although the male protagonist looks pretty typical. Should've been someone like Arngrim.

on more news about so2: all story text seems to be voiced, lame thing is you gotta wait for them to stop talking before you can hit O(X in NA) to continue text... hope you can turn that off somewhere
