When did it become acceptable to just message people instead of actually showing up and trying to resolve an issue? I cant zone into like 50 areas or else I'll DC (Resorting me to lag through the area and trying to finally zone into an area I can be in without lagging); remenicent of the problems that people were having a while ago (A few months ago? I cant remember), that I THOUGHT were fixed.

Well the last time this happened it wasnt anything at SE's side, there was something messed up on the internet itself. I dont recall the exact details but I think one of the backbone trunks went down and the rerouted traffic couldnt be handled in what FF considers a timely manner so the received data was rejected.

I'll never find the screenshot but If I remember right a GM assassinated Rustymetal about 3 years ago when he tried to MPK ArchDominus and Lunarians LS vs. Vrtra. A debug was used and he died. That shit was hilarious.

yeah, thats when we learned that the GMs run the debug command before they warm you sometimes, it strips all your buffs, you usually dont see it because it goes off when you are being ported but they were killing him as he ran by sneak/invis mobs by stripping his buffs. They hated him intensely. He caused more damage to FFXI than anything with his antics, Im pretty sure he is one of the ones who figured out you could change movement speed state and made the program to do it. If not that then I do remember watching a video of him turning on a chocobo in any zone, the jeuno bird was pretty lol.

Odd question, were you on PC or PS2 or what when that happened?

I've been on a bender lately finding terrain glitches to screw around with (latest fun: getting in the stall with that hume female NPC in Al Zahbi just outside the MH, funny watching people run by, then stop when they realise there's a new taru standing on the counter) and have been wondering if it would be repeatable to fall through the "water" in sea.

Looks like it could be fun to explore down there.

Man that was sooooooo long ago. I remember when he was able to port to sky without going through the door in Hall of the Gods and posted pictures of being on top of the point in craigs and various towers in sky. (Back when it was what? Early 2005 when sky was a big deal?) Then got banned. Remember when he had some GM's personal info and pranked call their cell phones >_>?

RustyMetal and Killuminati, now there are some names I haven't heard in a long while. I remember their bismarckbitchlist.com site, always good for a laugh. If I remember correctly they managed to get themselves into a sort of "zombie" state where they had 0 HP but they could move around and attack.

I also remember a former GM posting on KI calling out Rustymetal and KI as the two biggest troublemakers on Bismarck. For a GM to call you that... wow.

I think their greatest accomplishment was when a lawyer from S-E called them telling them to stop calling SE's GMs. I still have the MP3 of the call on my other hard drive... too bad it's 5,000 miles away in America.

I've had fairly good luck with nice GMs like Krondros, Emdub and a few others.

A few nights ago, I was messing around in Castle Zvahl Baileys with a couple of friends and a GM just randomly pops up out of nowhere (well, he was visible for a split second near the Dark Spark torches, disappeared and then reappeared behind the gate). Akydemyks, or something along those lines, was their name.

he seems to be like a joke GM to me, you know, to make the players "like gm's more".. since there are alot of stories here of akydymyks just popping up and making people laugh
that and his name is just simply a mispelled english word.
