Mexico wrestling sucks too![]()
Have'nt seen this RoH, but as it stands both TNA and WWE suck because they are trying to 1UP each other by rehashing old plots from one another :/.

Although it was one of the nice moments this.. still makes me lol.

I completely agree, nothing today or recent holds a candle to ECW. I can't believe they still air that garbage on Sci Fi of all channels. I bet the wrestlers that draw the shitty straws are at the point of committing suicide.Originally Posted by Daahan
Yeah? Performing. It's all about giving that feeling of excitement that wrestling is about. People who hate on wrestling don't understand not everyone who likes it is 10 and lives in a fantasy world. I stopped watching it awhile ago, but it had nothing to do with being "real", rather I no longer felt it anymore(probably due to poor writing/characters).Originally Posted by Norelco

That was pretty good, gotta admit heh.
Didn't WCW do an angle where Flair faked a heart attack?Originally Posted by Kang
I remember that, but I think it was real. He was in the middle of strutting and bouncing around off the ropes and then just dropped in the middle of his promo with Mean Gene. I'd hope he wasn't faking it at least...
Rick was the man, not better than Mr perfect, but he was great.

I'm a huge Wrestlling fan
Avid watcher since I was 3 years old (1983)
I have seen every Wrestlemania, seen wrestlers come and go, have suffered through re-hash of the same storyline/plot twiist for over 20+ years, yet I still watch wrestlling cause its become a hobby almost
I understand some of the people posting here don't appreciate "Sports Entertainment", but why post in a thread when your view towards the topic is already objectively askewed
Ric Flair did entertain me with his antics/wrestling/persona, its isn't written in stone that he is fully retired, I do believe Flair would like to do other things, venture out, and then comeback and do something with-in the WWE
Most likely he has retired from full-time commitment of wrestling, maybe further down the line do "Special" matches, but mostly Flair's experience will be used either to teach new-commers, or be a commentator (great verbage/mic skills), or maybe be a manager/booker backstage
I commend Flair for sticking with a profession that in the latter years has dire effects on the body
Even if you detest "Wrassling" or "Sports Make-Believe", gotta give Flair credit for sticking around, and keep people entertained for 35+ years
You cant say this man doesn't deserve any praise due to his profession, but for people who enjoy this kind of release, to me it feels like we lost 1 of the greats
The way WWE handled the retirement angle was pro/class, nice to see a profession Thank a pioneer who gave it his all

I guess Taker and Vince did come out... after the cameras weren't rolling. >.>
