Sipahi boots

Anyone know what level clothcraft are required to make these? Even a rough estimate? Search function gave nothing.

Well let's see here. The materials are as follows:

* 1 x Karakul Leather
* 2 x Marid Leather
* 3 x Mythril Sheet
* 1 x Wamoura Cloth

The wamoura cloth is obviously the clothcraft requirement. Seeing how wamoura cloth is a level 90 cc synth, the developers most likely lowered the cloth sub to 30~50, as it appears to be tier 1able from my server's sell history.

Wanna actually help us instead of just asking questions? If your cloth sub is low, get the materials (they are cheap), and try to synth the boots. If it doesn't let you, keep testing every clothcraft level attained until it does. Take that number, add 15, and BAM there's the official subcraft level.

It's questions like these that make me wish there was a Newbie Crafting Central forum

Don't forget that if you don't want to lose materials to test this (except the crystal), go out of town and engage a mob from a distance. Then try the synth. If you are within the levels to attempt it, all you lose is the crystal.

I was asking on behalf of a friend, and that is exactly what he's doing. Currently at 19, I believe, and not allowed to attempt to synth them. I was merely asking if anyone knew so he had a rough estimate on how high he should anticipate to take his CC for now, because it would be nice to have a rough estimate on how much gil he needs to set aside to get his CC to the required level.

He's almost at the easy part of CC anyway. From what I remember, ~30-52 cloth is all fletchings (super cheap levels). Really, the only thing he'd have to set more money aside for would be green ribbons (unless there's something better now?).

I think it's just rather unlikely that you'll find anyone in here that knows the subcraft level. Every site that I can find with crafting recipes lists it at unknown, probably because nobody knows

I just know in the past, occasionally things have come up on the forums before they've been added to BGwiki, and long before (if ever) it was added to otherwiki, so figured it was worth a shot.

CC hit 45 a second ago, Leathercraft had been at 30 for a while, still not allowed to attempt the synth. Clothcraft sub still unknown, Leathercraft sub higher than 45, making otherwiki wrong. FYI.

I dont see how you can say its cloth60 when you didn't have the correct leathercraft level during the testing. All you have found was that the leather sub was 48 and not 45 like originally thought, you did not prove anything about the clothcraft level of this synth, other than its below 60...

In my defense, I wasn't doing the testing, my friend was. I was just forwarding what he told me, since I was asked to follow up. Will update BGwiki.
