He was, however his friend shiroken didnt make the cut in Valour so its easy to assume this is the main reason for him jumping server shortly after Shiroken did to the same ls.

Kathan told me couple of weeks ago he was gonna RMT gil to pay me back, and I told him the fuck no, and that he could farm the gil back the legit way because he was working more IRL. The 2 last years Kathan had very sporadic playing hours in Valour, and
you can say jumping server and not responding to any of my PM's/msg or pay back his debt to me is a very "convenient" move from his side.

No matter what these LMXVII members say or persons like sarelk saids (who we had a fall-out with over a year ago)

it doesnt justify Kathan's actions.

I would like to point out this thread has mad me laugh so hard. Ackz drama still I mean wtf seriously? That shell broke about what a year ago.

Hey sarlek long time no see how ya been. If you remove the gil aspect period Kathan was one of your best members Zel you cannot deny that fact. He earned every last piece of gear he owns. He could have easily come to cerberus and never told you about moving period, he chose to tell you it all. Not to mention if you get into the specifics about things he didn't actually move himself anyways. You have always been so quick to talk shit about people once they leave etc. You have plenty of people who left your shell/server and moved on to another ls then ended up coming back (granted they were also great people). I have always shown you respect because you have never really done me any wrong (a couple of stupid things here and there) but the fact is no matter how Kathan left or could have left the BC would remain the same, valour butt hurt because they lost their best DD and probably their best member. You are making yourself look bad by starting drama with every last person from ifrit, you need to learn to post your peace and move on. If my brother has the gil he owes me I will make sure he gives you the 10M, Kathan owes you before he moves to Cerberus as well. Stop all the extra bull shit, Kathan made a single mistake of not paying you before he left IF everything is true, he self funded his relic, and earned his gear period.

P.S. I would really make comments about Begging people for currency seeing my friend was begged for currency to finish someones Mandau.

I think my ls members got the right to express themselves about their discontent towards Kathan after everything he got latley. Like you said, this drama happends when a relic leaves ls.

You have to understand Kathan did get help upgrading his apoc. He got to sponsor alot of the zones/buy coins from ls much cheaper than bazzar price. Attest/fragment isnt soloable either.

I will be waiting for your word about repaying me back. Then I will have my peace.

I don't know Kathan, and I don't know Zelphes either. Regardless of whether or not Zelphes is a retard, if Kathan didn't repay a debt then that should weigh pretty heavily on any decision. It sets a precedence that the person can't be trusted. Just my 2 cents.

Also, what's with these 1 or 2 post people who come out of the woodwork for background checks? I wouldn't believe anyone that hasn't had at least a handful of posts on here. Could easily be the guy who is getting BCed saying he/she is the best thing since sliced bread + his/her buddies posting for him/her. First post ever is in a BC thread? GTFO

First of all this is my first time to post here, so hello to everyone. Nice to meet you.

I just wanted to comment on this BC since it has been somewhat diluted/degraded due to various irrelevant postings.

First of all, I am a current Valour member. I am also the newest member (about 2 months now), so I have not known Kathan for very long. Therefore I will only post what I know personally as well as my own opinion of things.

I have never had a problem with Kathan (until now). He was always polite and nice when I interacted with him. During the past 2 months his play times have been a little sporadic at times. I assume this is likely due to irl conflicts.

I have no doubt he earned his gear and put his time into acquiring them. However, I must add that he was considered one of the key players by many, so he was provided with the opportunity to lot on choice drops above others that (in my view) worked just as hard for it. This is not surprising and life is not fair, but most people will understand why others in the LS may be upset if someone that received gear over them left with no warning.

I was not aware of him having a debt to Zelphes until afterwards. This was a shock to me, more so than the fact that he left the LS without a warning. Regardless of if it is "fake" game money, not repaying your debt to your friend that trusted you and moving to another country (er, server), is wrong. It may be easier to run and hide and ignore, but it that does not make it "ok" since it is a game.

I would like to think that this was just a bad choice that Kathan made in a moment of weakness and is not an indication of his true character. If he has a debt, he should still repay this himself. Why taint the accomplishment of your relic by having the last 12 mil gil to obtain it be "stolen" gil?

In the end, the gil that was not repaid is really secondary. He can still pay this (as he should) by borrowing it or having someone else pay it. It was his weakness in not wanting to face his responsibilities, running away from it, and betraying the trust he had that hurt people.
