Who's the most famous person you've met?

I think I've met the most famous person in the world. Wish I had pictures of it but I definately got his autograph and his gf's too, she's pretty famous. Their friends are even hugely famous.

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas, he was contracted to come wrestle for a local indy Chicago fed a few years back and I waited for him after the show ended. He signed a few autographs and then I asked if I could get a picture with him, which he was cool about and took with me.

As part of an university program, I once had breakfast with Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice. There was about 30 people total at the breakfast, so it wasn't some massive thing. We shook hands and talked for around 2 hours.

I got Dominik Hasek's autograph after a Sabres playoff game in 2001-2002 or something like that.

That's pretty cool...an autograph from the Dominator. Are you/were you from the Buffalo area?

I lived in Westfield. It's about 50 miles west on Lake Erie. I got a lot of other autographs that night as well. I have the shirt that was autographed framed and hung up on my wall. I was an Alexei Zhitnik fan...but he just drove by us and didn't sign anyones stuff...I even had an Alexei Zhitnik jersey . The rest of them were in a good mood because they had just beaten Boston in game 5 or something.

Quentin Tarantino, got his autograph after a play he starred in (Wait Until Dark, I think it was called) and talked with him a little bit. He's a really cool guy. I also may have sat at the same table as Martin Sheen at a Hibachi restaurant here in my hometown during the EAA show a couple years back, which I know he attended. Didn't talk to him, though, and we did see a limo around, so I wasn't 100% sure it was him, but it looked exactly like him.

I've smoked weed with the Wailers (was only a few years ago so obviously "post" Bob Marley) before, and briefly met Randy Savage at a family function way back when (his ex-wife Ms. Elizabeth was a 2nd cousin).

I didn't actually meet him, but I worked the spotlight for KRS-One when he performed on our campus in the past

I've met Rick Pitino at UofL, really nice guy. I have a lot of ex-kentucky/UofL players come to work during our anniversaries. The team (Pitino's) priest is a board member for our company.

Ex-NBA player Walter McCarty. My dad and his mom knew each other really well.

Sat beside Kevin Nash on an airplane going to Daytona Beach Florida. They had a PPV event there. Really nice guy and really fucking tall. I seen him at the airport sticking out like a sore thumb, and thought "wouldn't it be cool if he was on our plane". Oddly enough, I ended up beside him.

Guy Gavriel Kay, author: He went to University with my uncle, was at a wedding of a mutual family friend.

Maynard James Keenan, singer: My first boyfriend's father was a radio personality in Boston, so we had backstage passes to Ozzfest '98. I was trying to stay out of everyone's way, and tucked myself on a small rise away from the food tables and obnoxious people. This very nice, soft-spoken guy came up, asked me some inocuous question (where something was, I don't recall), and somehow we had about a twenty minute conversation about myth and symbols. My boyfriend came up afterwards, shaking, and asked me if I knew who that was. Of course I didn't, and I felt a little retarded finding out; Tool was my favourite band at the time. Very funny in retrospect.

Gary Numan, musician/singer: Stayed after a concert to meet him, was the only time I've ever shook talking to someone. Standing about waiting, I'd gotten into a conversation with a lovely woman, who turned out to be his wife Gemma.. she was wonderful, actually crowd-cut me to talk with him. Both amazing people. Probably the most meaningful "omg ur famous" experience for me. The picture I have of Gary and myself together still looks odd to me, since I look so calm -- I remember very clearly worrying I was going to cry.

Ive met Kobe Bryant and his wife multiple times. They used to do their banking at the Bank of America I used to work at. Theyd never come in together and she would actually wait at the teller window and joke around with us. He was more quiet and would just walk over to the personal banker desks.

Ive also met Peter North multiple times the same way. He waits in the teller window lines too, lol.

Bruce Campbell at a book signing. Tremendously entertaining guy in person, very approachable, and just loves to spend time with his fans. He insisted on spending time with each and every person who came to the signing. He even grabbed someone's cellphone and talked to their friend for a minute.

He also apologized for Icebreaker, so that was nice of him.

Also had brief encounters with Tara Reid, Mr. T, and Gary Coleman.

Oh that reminds me, Ive also met Paris Hilton and Matt Leinart in a bar in the OC. She was actually really fun to be around. She would answer peoples cellphones and talk to whoever. More friendly and open that I would have thought.
