Met a lot of famous baseball players at autograph signings, but by far my coolest celebrity moment was playing catch with Jason Kendall at the old Durham Bulls park over the left field fence.

That's the university I was referring to. Graduated from Speed School in 2005, but now I live in New Mexico. What company do your work for?Originally Posted by Tyche
I worked as a batboy for the Memphis Redbirds, the St. Louis Cardinals AAA farm team, when I was in 9th grade. I met Rick Ankiel, Bo Ryan, So Taguchi, J.D. Drew, Yadier Molina, Albert Pujols, and a bunch of other players who either may or may not have gone pro. Was a pretty badass job now that I think back on it, I had many conversations with all the players in the dugouts, who for the most part were all pretty cool guys. No telling who I met on all the other teams in the league too, I never really kept up with baseball especially at that time in my life.
Oh, and I met John Daly on campus at the UoA. lol
He seemed cool to me.Originally Posted by Tyche

Bo Jackson, and that fat guy from american idol ate at the restaurant I used to work at.
I meet a lot of famous people through work also. I do lighting and sound for concerts, raves, corporate meetings, political rallies, etc. Dunno, it was exciting at first, but familiarity breeds contempt I guess. Meeting famous DJs was always the best, and leads to the most interesting stories lol.
played black jack @ planet hollywood casino with jaime foxx last summer
smoked weed with Max Bemis from Say Anything
met jared leto randomly behind 930 club and shot the shit with him for like 10 minutes
met far too many redskins to list at bars around here, clinton portis about four times alone.
Met Glen Keane when he came to lecture at the Ballyfermot college and spoke a few words with him, I still have the drawing of Beast he made into my sketchbook safely tucked away. Name may not be familiar for most but he was the supervising animator for Disney in late 80s/throughout the 90s and created Ariel, Aladdin, Beast, Tarzan and a few other main characters.
Encountered a whole bunch of Irish celebs from Liam Neeson (yeah he's fucking tall) to Ronan Keating and all of Westlife during my college years while working at the biggest cinema in Dublin but it was just me serving them popcorn and nothing more memorable.

Lebron James, though I met him well before he was actually famous.
(Does it still count? Or do I have to meet them after they've become famous?)
Working at an airport seems lead to meeting or at least seeing several famous people.
I've personally met and talked to Richard Dreyfuss, Seth Green, LL Cool J and Andre 3000.
Yeah, I does Id think, lol. I love his commercials. :DOriginally Posted by Woozie
Chuck Lidell while drunk off my ass in Vegas.
I was at a wolf parade concert at the bowery ballroom in NYC. I turn around to go to the bar to get a drink and who is behind me, but scarlett johansson. Soooo hot, but even hotter in person. Was totally going to put the moves on her but she was with Josh Hartnett. I mean i totally could have stolen her from josh hartnett, but uh yeah not really.
I met Rudy Guilliani and I used to work with one of the guys from Stellastar* but I don't think anyone knows them. <.<
- Ken Dryden at a book signing. Super cool guy. Even posed for pictures where most celebs just wanna sign and GTFO. Talked for a few minutes.
- Bob Gainey when he first started coaching in Europe. I was 10 at the time and he told me to "Fuck off kid." >I pestered him til I got him to sign my hockey sticker book. (LOL sticker book) I figured if he was gonna be a dickhead to me, I could be one back.
- Saku Koivu wandering around the concourse at an Oilers game when they were here. He was injured and was walking to the press box in a suit. Oddly enough at Oilers/Habs games in town, the Habs have about 70% of the fans, yet nobody recognized him except for me.
- Hung out and partied with Moneen, Thrice and bought shots for Minus The Bear.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head though.
Woah-oh-oh-ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, sweet troubled soul.
George W. Bush
6th Grade field trip to Austin to see the capitol building, we had a class garage sale that raised a ton of money to be able to travel that far (from North Dallas). We went up to the governor's office and got to meet him, shook our hands and took a group picture. Funniest part was the bag of Taco Bell on his desk.
Magic Johnson at a hotel in Seoul, Korea.
Donovan McNabb used to rent movies at the Blockbuster I worked at.
For WWE fans, I've met Matt Bloom (or "Prince Albert") a few times at that Blockbuster too.
Isaac Bruce crashed my pontoon into the side of a man-made lake. (damage wasn't bad)
I think i mentioned this one IRC or something, but ric flair's son reed was on my little league baseball team, and since ric lives in my hometown he came to all the games. We chatted every saturday(i was into wrestling at the time), hes really a nice guy, and yes his hair is that white irl. One other fact: he drove a top of the line benz to the little league parkshow off
For any scholars out there, I met jane goodall once, she was holding a little seminar here and did a little meet and greet afterwards.
Also i've met various athletes from local pro sports teams, panthers, hornets, bobcats. I also got to see UNC tarheels play live this year and shook a few of their hands..
I have met a few Carolina Panthers:
Mike Rucker: Networked his entire home as a weekend favor.

Jim Turner: Former WR for Panthers. Was just a good friend of mine, met these players through him.
Todd Steussie: Panthers offensive linemen.
Rae Carruth: Before he was charged and convicted of Murder lol, Former WR for the Panthers.
And then you meet the team at signings an fan days but that didn't count those in my list.
Nascar:
Dale Earnhart Jr.
Dale Earnhart Sr
Richard Petty

Just to name a few. Many of them still reside in Charlotte and surrounding.
Athletes in general:
Dell Curry (Former Charlotte Hornet)
Antwan Jamison (Met him in Highschool)
Jeff Reed (Kicker for the Pittsburgh Steelers went to same High school)
Anyway... you get the point. I said "Most famous" but most people, myself included, wrote an entire fucking list lol.
