Opera because I love things that allow me insane customization options. Firefox also pretty much copies everything Opera does so why not hit the source.
firefox because I like browsers that use more RAM than a video game
Mouse gestures are made of win. Also customisation things, popup blocker, and a tabbed browsing system which doesn't suck.Originally Posted by CMMeast

Also, I keep thinking you're Tajin, you bastard D:

I've been using Firefox recently because of the noscript plugin. I wish I could go back to IE, Firefox is definitely not my cup of tea. IE was simple and seemed to do everything the way I wanted, I don't really see what the hype behind Firefox is other than plug ins I'd rather not use.
Why did you steal Tajin's avatar ._.
Yeah, I did. They must have litterally JUST erased it.Originally Posted by #686578
Edit: I feel weird going back to the normal style now. I'm probably going to go ahead and buy a custom title lol (just don't know what to get)

IE6 because I'm oldschool and never had security problems.
Using Firefox just because IE didn't let me read BG anymore without a reason. I don't realy use any special stuff of Firefox so it's not realy that much different than IE for me.
For some reason, IE takes like 10 minutes to load up when I click it. Okay, it only takes about three, but that's still a long timie, considering that it used to load within a few seconds.
Also, it locks up my whole computer during the time it's loading.
Been using firefox since back before it was called firefox. Before it even had a fancy splitoff name and was just Mozilla. I originally got it because of the built in popup blocking, which was a huge problem back in the days of IE5. Especially when you considered that 99% of third party popup blockers were spyware or often opened their own popups. All the other reasons followed after that, like standards compliance, security features, and just plain old familiarity. I haven't touched anything else ever since I switched. Plus I used linux for a year or two so there wasn't really much in the way of alternatives during that time.![]()
Firefox. Despite the bugs/memory leaks/whatever.
These days I use it with noscript and adblock and all that. Nice in that way.
Another thing I like about it is that I can use Firefox on Windows, Mac, whatever, and it's consistent.
The reason I actually started using Firefox though was Safari. More specifically, tabbed browsing on Safari. This was years ago, when both were reasonably new, but IE didn't have tabs at the time. Firebird, at the time, was a light alternative to using Netscape, and offered tabs, popup blocking, etc.
.
Browser: Firefox
Primary Reason: Lack of compelling reasons to switch to a new browser. i.e. Inertia. Memory leaks don't take down my entire computer anymore, it's easy enough to kill the firefox process and relaunch with everything still in place.
Secondary Reason: Plugin architecture allows a uniform browsing experience on both my PC and my Mac. See also: Primary Reason.
Firefox.
Tabbed browsing, plugins, search expandability, pop-up blocker, Adblock Plus, etc.
Firefox. Been using it since Firebird v0.4 as an IE replacement way back primarily for security reasons.
(lolActiveX)
Still using it today (Firefox3 Beta5) because of familiarity with it, as well as my selection of customizations and add-ons. Too lazy to explore and try anything else out basically.
Firefox... Probably all the reasons above plus when I close it I have it clear everything that was save (Except bookmarks). Like a fresh start every time.
