Looking to pick up a decent point and shoot digital camera; nothing too fancy, and not looking to spend more than like $250 on it.
Anyone that can make any recommendations?
Doesn't matter what type of memory cards it uses.

Kodak Z1275 is a great camera for a Kodak. Shoots video in 720p even. Other than that, had some good Canon P&Ss.
Sony Cyber Shot.
Baught 2.3 mega pixle(I think) back in 01. Lasted till last year when the wife said we needed a new one. Baught a 7.3 megapixle and the family hates it when I send pics and forge to resize :D Honestly no complaints and it has been dropped and run over and still works great.
Well I bought a digi camera for my girlfriend for christmas. Did some research, decided that the Canon Powershot 870IS gave her the best of both worlds...... great image quality and still a very decently sized camera (She wanted something she could carry around. It's definitely easy to carry around, but it's nothing like those credit card cameras, but those usually suck anyways)
It has a wide-angle lens so she can fit more into her pictures, a great display, 8MP, Optical Image Stabilization, decent zoom, great battery life. It's around $299 but I'm sure you could find it somewhere for $250 or less.

Thanks for the suggestions, liking the Sony but going to research more to compare the 3 of em.
Where's the guy that used to post here? Forgot his name, but the dude knew his cam/photo stuff.
