Hellboy II full trailer released

The art direction and the fights were the best part about the movie, the dialog, on the other hand was just bad, and there was so much happening that got on my nerves. The point that really frustrated me was when the plant god was summoned:

Why did he hesitate? The damn thing was trying to kill him and was tossing cars around like nobody's business, nowhere in the previous scenes was there any indication that he would have remorse for the thing, the bitch just said he was a plant god nothing more, she didn't say it was the only one of its kind until after Hellboy hesitated. And then the reaction of the people nearby was just plain retarded, there was hardly any indication that people hated him or anything, in fact it seemed like they liked him during the whole tooth fairy incident, and now all of a sudden they hate him and they think he hurt the baby for no fucking reason. What the fuck? The movie just felt slow to me due to all the unnecessary dialog that was badly executed; they're actions just seemed implausible.

As an aside, i know that some of us are all into this whole sacrifice the world for the one you love blah blah blah, but i don't quite think that sort of message is very noble. I do believe there are approximately 6 billion other humans on the planet who would very much like to keep existing regardless of your detriment.

the mother of the baby is just a damn fucking bitch.

I was hoping the fight between hellboy and prince is other way round in the end. I.e. the princess suicide when hellboy lost badly and the prince is gonna kill him.

But seems like these kind of american heroes movie usually will end up the main character beats the enemy, disregard how strong is the opponent

it was decent. i dunno why it just didnt have the flare and excitement the first one did.

Seemed discontinuous, and I felt bored several times throughout the film. Great artistic drive, but overall very thin plot, sloppy scene transition, and very little character growth.

Worth a rental, but not really movie ticket price.

WTF at the fights being great. The plant god fight was short, involved Hellboy jumping on a few cars and then having some explosive shells take down a GOD the size of a fucking skyscraper. Thing missed him on an immobile target about 200 fucking times too. Also, totally in agreement with Kuya. One moment, everyone is ^___^ and speaking about autographs and laughing at late night commentary and the next scene everyone is repulsed by their existence?
