Msql php support

I'm having a shitload of trouble getting php to support mysql calls. I've read so many guides but most of them say "Ok now install mysql with these settings and you should now see this on your php info" annnd guess what I fucking don't! This is very frustrating ! Can anyone help me set this up pleaaaseeee. Cookies if you can.

I used a sample script to see if it connected and I get nothing when its supposed to say if it connected correctly or not x.x! Fucking frustrating now I have no clue whats wrong.

What MySQL/PHP version? What does your script look like?

Solved it earlier. Heh Its for windows and its mysql5 and php5 apache2.2. I used all the hard guides but the simplest one worked for me.

why intall it all by hand when it's so easy on windows to do XAMPP??? http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html
