Doctor Who series 4 (contains spoilers)

Spoiler tiny text, lots of spoilery stuff for Season 4:

The Rose thing is not a shocker. I would be shocked if we didn't see at least her/Martha/Sarah Jane/Jack at random points leading up to near the end of Series 4. I'm fairly certain it's been confirmed that all 4 will be in at least ONE episode, if not multiple, this year, as either part of the "Who Lite" episode (each year so far has had one, where the Doctor is barely in the episode, a break for the actor, last year's was "Blink", and the one with the LINDA folks are examples), where several of the Doctor's assistants will somehow band together. The other rumor I heard was that they would all be involved, including Rose, in the season finale, which should have something to do with Davros. Either way, can't wait for Jack and Sarah Jane

That said: I really adore this show, and I like Donna more than either Martha or Rose, I thought her character was absolutely fantastic in the Runaway Bride.

Today's episode was pretty fantastic, most of the multi-part episodes are really good, so i'm expecting a lot from the next episode. Had some really funny moments as well, the Sontarans have been done really well I think. Though I must say I dislike Donna's mother the most of all the... mothers... we've seen >_>

After Martha it is nice to see someone who is not interested in the Doctor romantically. I felt bad for her last season since she was pining away for someone who just didn't notice her. (Captain Jack too, I guess.)

Just got finished watching The Doctor's Daughter and thank god for that ending. The Doctor having a child is just way too interesting an angle to throw away with a one-shot. I kind of hope they explain why she kept her appearance, though I'm guessing it has to do with a thing I read on wikipedia about the the Doctor getting seemingly younger with each regeneration. This was also an episode where I actually liked Donna. Overall very entertaining.

Nothing against the 10th Doctor, I like him a lot, but he is leaving at the end of this season. I just lament that we didn't get to see more of the 9th Doctor.
