Oh, now that i've taken the time to read the entire thread I'll say something to the only part that has anything really to do with me.

At least it's good to know there's no assholes in your LS... It's good you are "that" smaller LS which avoids all drama, such as people like Dakk who play as a girl for years and con e-bf after e-bf before being exposed..

First of all Raineer, there were 2 e-bf. The first I never took anything from, and in fact bought him a few things. The second who of which I'm still great friends with did help with a few AH bought crafted items, which I repayed by using my own gil on his cross counters and his shura togi, back when those things actually cost something.
Don't talk about something you don't know anything about other then rumors thrown around, some of which may be true others, not so much.
If you knew me what-so-ever you would know differently.
But hey, people spread rumors, fact or fiction it always makes for some fun drama.

For what it's worth, both points were extremely relevant. He's trying to hold his LS up as "morally superior" to others just like he did before. He makes it a point to name two people as so valuable to the linkshell, when both have admitted (or been proven) to be complete frauds.

I'm happy you made peace with the guys, and I agree it really means nothing to anyone anymore. The fact still remains Milkman should realize he's writing practically a complete fabrication on every level. I wish I had a job where I could write fiction and get paid whatever he does, I actually have to take time to study and put real work into mine :/

I'd still like to think if I had a job for somewhere like 1up I would find time to play and learn the games I write about well.

I really don't think what he wrote sounds like he's trying to morally justify our ls. I can kinda see were some of you get that from his latest post, but I think the first paragraph clears its up a little. The post was made for those that have followed his blog for a long time, I have no idea how many people do. I know I don't because I find any sort of Blog stupid, I don't really care what people have been up to on a personal level to religiously read blogs. But whatever floats your boat.

Even before I knew Gyogi was the writer on 1up I've always liked his writing style on his reviews.

When did I say that? That was just an example. You think an article about doing x salvage/dynamis/etc run for y item(s) for the z#th time is more exciting to someone who doesn't play the game? His article makes the game, or kirin at least, sound a lot more epic than it really is. I would think that type of writing, regardless of how inaccurate, is a lot more likely to interest a new player in the game than a more realistic representation, that's all I'm saying.

That was just his jab at the flawed kings and overall 'stereotypical' endgame in FFXI from what i made of it.

He could have wrote about something more upbeat like Salvage and trashed kings like that; probably would have been more appealing to people. Instead he just drops a oneliner about botting and kings starting a wildfire, without mentioning that well.... Salvage is better in every way than kings.
