Trying to figure out what would be better for rampage, Peacock Charm, Temperance Torque, or Soil Gorget?

Any opinions would be cool.

yeah i think gorgets only effect the first hit right? not sure though. and temperance torque would be more effective for dual wielding axe's. But like i said i wasn't positive so i just wanted some input.

Anyone have a Monk and a Flame Gorget that would be willing to mindlessly fire Asurans at targets and record Tp returns over several hundred WSes with minimal accuracy gear, and not that Asuran can DA, but not /War or wearing Brutal, just to absolutely eliminate that?

I did a bunch of tests, but my natural DA polluted the results too much apparently, though I did get 5% more hits landed with Gorget than without, and my damage is better with it, so I've been using it.

Again, still needs conclusive testing, but I'm partial to mine.

I'm perma PLD for LS, part of the understanding with getting kikoku funded was that it was still going to be that way once I finished, so NIN/DRK set isn't too relevant, likewise with fire, and I'm currently working on tweaking my EVA set a bit (just got hikazu hands, etc) but I'm sure all that you really care about is what's posted XD, that's pretty much it...Fuck Hammerblow and Fuck CC.

Also, Denali vs. Usukane on WS? I choose Usukane hands down, just wondering if any people had dissenting opinions.

Edit: Small note - I was getting some very decent numbers on Metsu last night on DC - T mob when fucking around with skillchaining, and since that's about the level of most salvage mobs below 3-4f it's giving me reason to think I might be able to ride the subtle blow+ all through the first few floors. No salvage til about 9pm EST, but I'll test it then.

whats your average jin dmg before you got kikoku if you happen to remember?
and whats your acc % at bird camp with that setup? i ran at 91% with my normal TP gear (and madrigal) but i use x2 snipers and hauby PCC bomblet (missing perdu usukane and HQ gear QQ)

Hard to say average with a WS like jin, but with minuets I'd say 800ish is a good, rough number on all hits landed, without, it would depend on the mob - shit I farm 900-1k, XPing or doing shit without BRD I'd say closer to 600.

84-85% pretty standard ACC in top TP setup, 90-91% with Haub +1 (referring to bird camp) It's been a very long time since I've merited at all, since I've been capped for a long time now and I campaign / ENM for buffer so these are all very rough figures dating back before usukane. Katana merits are 8/8, STR5/5 Crit 4/4 for relevant info about XP damage.

I'll probably merit today after camps and can have some rough eyeballed numbers on birds for you, I wouldn't want to parse and call anything gospel after 1 XP party with gear that I'm not even sure will stay static

Edit: I should add by the way, I'm considering crossing over to Haub +1 full time for TP on anything outside of salvage now that I have Kikoku, the lesser delay on it (210 v 227) is comparable enough to the 5% DW reduction from AF body that I can easily see the benefits off ACC+12 / ATT+12 for TPing shining through, especially with 3x DMG chance on every main hand swing, it becomes a situation where lower ACC just isn't beneficial for attacking a bit faster.

My only other question... and I honestly don't have enough experience to comment well on it. Have you tried using a higher attack build as opposed to stat build for Jin? Using Bando, Usu Feet, Merman's Earring vs Tekko+1, Denali, Triumph Earring. I always felt like the extra attack bonus helped my WS more.

I actually just got bando the other day, and one thing I've wanted to test would be the ATT build, but I feel if I'm getting MINx2 Mad March it'd be a waste, probably in a March x2 Mad Min x1 party it would shine. and is really something I do want to try.

I use Usukane for Jin because I'm an ACC whore, I really don't like any other slot for feet for jin, the ACC / ATT just feels so nice with the rest of the setup, for metsu however I had forgotten about RSE2 feet after I sold mine, and that would probably be the best option. The Usukane vs. Denali was more of a toss-up question brought up by someone else, that I thought I'd throw in.

The ATT build with double march is definitely on my list to try, I think it just depends on the songs (I'm in party right now getting mad / min min / march) and yeah, I reeeeeally need a Vbelt, the money I was going to buy a speed belt with obviously went to kikoku instead XDDD

This is my first party with Kikoku, I'm at mamool ja sp, using a new parser, but overall what's shocking me is my REALLY LOW crit%. Sitting at 10.45 after 85 fights on puk / mamool, definitely something I need to work on.

Would you use Somen over Shura Kabuto (+1), Sath? I was talking to a few Ninja the other day getting their opinions between the two. Compromising, HQ Shura head would be the option, but I feel I'd still drop 3 Str for 1 Acc...not to mention it'd save me 1 inventory space.

In my opinion, Dhead +1 > Somen > Dhead NQ, and Dhead +1 is on my list of things to do, even if I have to low man seiryu for the abj

Usukane legs over Byakko's for WS? Did you work out the math on that? It seems you favor a lot of accuracy on your Jin's so I thought that was a bit strange. It's at least 1 fSTR, +10 WS mods, +10 Attack, +2.5 Accuracy vs. +15 WS mods, and +7.5 Accuracy. And that works out to be like 4 base damage, 10 attack and 2.5 accuracy vs. 4.5 base damage, and 7.5 Accuracy.

Meh, its really close. I am going to pick over it some more, because you deserve it! LOL

some NIN gears needing swaps but considering: marine M boots for ws, or full str gears that can be squeezed, but since not having any problems for now, i'll leave it as it is
