Why they hell does anyone care what other people idle in? lol They idle in it because they like the look. Everyones taste is different.

I'd consider Idle gear to be important. Town gear however doesn't matter.

I always idled in AF2 body and macro'd aristo.

^ This (but I don't have an Aristo's ... yet). I macro in Jubbah for Stoneskin/Haste/anything that doesn't need Cure Potency or Regen Effect.

By "idle", I'm not referring to town gear. I'm referring to the gear I have on that isn't a macro peice. I figured the -enmity alone made it a better idle peice than the ariso which provided no benefit other than refresh.

<= Idle/Town gear, I like the look, and it has higher defense than almost anything else you will find, gives regen and no movement down/-eva/etc, has a metric ton of HP too, I put my undusk run macro to this, since I swap into all my visible gear slots after WS anyway.

Pure town gear would be my goblin hat/gilet/fomor subligar/rse feet.

Got this tonight for my lolbst. This is my normal charming gear. Focuses on Charm+, then CHR. My CHR charm set is used if my first charm fails, or if i need for sure charm. BST really need some sort of back item..

Charm+ only increase the time the pet is charmed, only useful when you are fighting easy preys. You need to invest in CHR gear and magic accuracy, those will improve your charm rate a lot better when you are soloing wsnm or something.

Im aware of what Charm+ does. Charm+ is great for anything under T, I have a full CHR set, but it's worthless unless im trying to charm VT or harder, or some sort of resistant mob, or if I know I need to charm something 100%. Ive never had trouble charming anything under T once hitting 75 back in '05.

What exactly is your target for that slow/paralyze setup? It just doesn't make much sense to me that you find such a low skill set effective, unless you're using elemental seal or really fighting something weak.

I generally just use it for soloing(ZNM, sky triggers, whatever).. though I opted to merit 5/5 earth and ice over putting any in convert/wind. As stated earlier, for stronger mobs I swap in AF+1 and altruistic.. in very rare cases I use enfeebling torque and nashira seraweels as well.

In your idle set, what neck piece are you using? Also why do you use Crimson Hands for curing? I'd imagine it is for the obvious HP/MP +20, but for the slight chance that you get intimidated by someone with Dragon Killer, it doesn't seem worth it to me.

The neckpiece is same as the other sets just an enfeeb torque, I don't have an orochi yet.

I don't use crimson hands for curing, that's healing MP not curing.

Curing set I didn't post, too lazy to SS; I use Goli body, and the rest -enmity with Light staff.
