Its more subjective than other calls, but like I said before, if it was called a no goal, its doubtful it would be overruled. Kinda hard for the crossbar to stop his stick after he hits the puck, yet not touch it while its above the crossbar.

I was calling it a subjective call yesterday. After seeing the video 20 times in row trying to take good pictures, I'm convinced it was good. You can see the puck right after it got hit, and you can the moment he hit if you watch his movement. He waited for it, then knocked it down the net the second it reached the bar.

I dont understand your argument here. The guy pushed it diagonally from top to bottom. He didnt hammered it down and landed his stick on top of the net.

This is how it landed on "top of the net", but it's not like he hit the puck with top part of the stick. Not to mention it stick went back up after hitting the puck if you watch the video.

Considering how close the puck is on this shot, the stick couldn't have been much higher.


I can't find the video of the last penalty, but it seemed legit as well. Beside, it's not like flyers didnt fake any yesterday. I'm talking about komisarek's 2nd penalty in 2nd period when someone grabbed his stick and fell down.

I missed that goal, did they review it in Toronto? If they reviewed and it was labeled a goal then it was obviously a goal. The NHL review room in TO has a lot more camera angles than you get to see.

That was a very good Stars win last night. Morrow and Robidas looked fantastic all night, winning all the small battles, proving me wrong on the matchups, actually. I really didn't think either of them would come through, but they looked very good, and squeaked out the OT win. I like them in 6 over the Sharks now. Nabakov actually looked very soft, though, the Sharks D was completely outplayed most of the game.

I didn't get to watch the Rangers/Pens, but the Avery circus needs to stop. I'm happy the Pens won that.

Except Turco historically implodes in the playoffs. As to Sean Avery. He's an idiot. But he does his job, which is to get under other people's skins. And he does it magnificently. I personally loathe Sean Avery, but I kind of laugh when I see people calling him talentless etc.

Sean Avery is a good hockey player. He can score, he agitates, he instigates. It's his job and he does well at it. Every team has an agitator and everyone outside of his home team's city hates him. They have Avery, we have Jarrko Ruutu(who is absolutely adored by all Pittsburgh hockey fans because of the way he plays.)
