European beer is no where good enough to swear off American made beers. Anyone (american) who does is a self-hating asshole.

Micro brewery. Those two words will change your world, probably already heard of it if you're reading this thread. American Micro Breweries make great beer that is better, or even just as good as European beer.

Edit: Fat Tire is by New Belgium, a Colorado brewery. Try Sunshine Wheatbeer if you like Fat Tire, or any of their beer its all great.

Anyone tried Mac & Jacks African Amber? Its a microbrewery up in Redmond, Washington. That beer is so amazingly good. Unfortunately it only comes by the keg, like a lot of smaller beers/microbrews, so you can only get it in bars, etc. But gd it is so good.

Fat Tire is great too. So is pretty much all kinds that come out of the Deschutes microbrewery in Bend, Oregon.
