I haven't studied the worldwide records, for me they always come up as someone who did that gay trick that gets your time down to 0.155 seconds or whatever. I just kinda try a bunch of things and see how well I do against your first lap until I fuck up and have to start over.

Hey, have any of you guys raced people with "modded Wii's"? During a 12 man race yesterday, there was a Japanese guy who raced through the grass and all the terrain without slowing down. Me and my friend were in 2nd and 3rd place and he FINISHED the race while we were on our 2nd (SECOND!) lap. The race was force ended because 30 seconds had transpired since he crossed the finish line.

He was going at a blazing speed, almost like he had a permanant super mushroom. It was actually pretty hillarious. Obviously his VR was 9999 so I'm assuming that's how he got it. Just wondering if anyone has raced against people like that.

I haven't raced anyone like that but apparently Action Replay's recently come out so I've been hearing some reports lately of people using it to gain an unfair advantage. I'd just leave right after race if it happend to me.

I've left after having someone take one of the mega shortcuts on Grumble Mountain. I know how to do it but it's not gratifying winning that way.

I see alot of hacked speed times. Like Mushroom Gorge and the Volcano level. Playing online is kinda shitty sometimes but usually it's not that bad. >.>

Was doing online battle and this one guy was just in a constant state of star 24/7. The second it wore off it just reappeared again no matter how many points/coins. So gay. :/
