Lol i did my Finale CoP Mission with him. Think Friday night i ran him out of my Merit party (Was replacement, didnt make party). Was SAM SAM WAR RDM WHM NIN. Kept telling him how useless NIN is in merit partys, espicaly him. ( NIN can be decent if geared well and merited but obviously not him lol.) So got a mnk to replace him and could finaly breath happily.

Good god, I can't get over how retarded this really is...

as a corner case, it might be useful for regen in the absence of af2 body, as well as haste, and a couple other spells, just to cut down on cast/recast. i haven't really run the math and i doubt if it holds water, but it's also possible that the mind may have a significant impact on cure5 as iirc, it's heavily modded by mnd. again, all highly situational, but meh. his money.

When I checked her to take the SS, she told the party she wasn't set up for healing. I couldn't resist and told her she wasn't set up for anything.
I had to ask her if she had Dia II, Paralyze and Slow since she at first didn't use it at all. She did take the hint.

Yes, level 49 PLD is wearing level 29 armor. /facepalm. I can't remember if he xp'ed in the Empress band or not. And I think the cape was that evasion one ... I was really just blown away by the fact that he hadn't updated his body armor (for at least just a little more defense) in 20 levels.

But it gets worse. Party setup was fine, RDM BRD WAR WAR(me) PLD and some other random DD, maybe a DRK. PLD couldn't hold hate. Late late late vokes off the puller, and as soon as one of us WARs hit it, we were taking hate. It's true I'd been tanking in my static (who went on without me after I d/c'ed one night so I got this gem of a party to catch back up) so I'd been practiced at pulling hate with /ja and Voke and whatnot, but he'd voke once and then couldn't get hate off me. PLD who can't get hate? I even held back ... WAY back ... and still pulled hate. /facepalm again.

Oh the hilarity that ensued from us telling him that he fails at his job:

Apparently because I voked to get the bats off the RDM I was comitting some horrible crime when he shouldn't have lost hate to begin with.

He tried after that, casted a few cures other than self cures, and spammed Flash when it was up, but he was still horrible at holding hate. Seriously this guy should quit PLD.

And to my great relief, he updated his gear at 50. But as a friend of mine always says, "Gear can always be upgraded, skill can not."
